Sure its not just your internet? I haven't experienced any of these issues unless someone's watching netflix, hogging up the internet.

Nah that's just a scare tactic used by badmins trying to run a loot farm for their buddies. Only thing admins can do is kick and restart servers. If you see that, you can report the server to their provider because it breaks the ToS. Same if they kick for no reason or restart a server to avoid getting their char killed.

I certainly hope they're working on it, whether this is the reason you're having this problem or not. Could be you're going on broken servers, I just did a bit ago. Most likely you're experiencing this bug though. I can't imagine them not working on it. Edit: Just throwing it out there, but maybe if you kill your character and respawn it will fix it. -
If you heard an arrow you were just killed by another player, nothing more. I've met and killed and been killed quite a bit on 1-4/40 servers. Head inland is the only way, and even then as long as there are other players on you are at risk of running into each other.

Where is way up north? Seems like an awesome place to set up a camp in if its way way up there.

If it really was just 4 feet I don't think it would kill you. Break your legs most likely, unless you fell while you were half dead anyway. Protip: Healthy, Energized and hydrated status increases the damage you can take.

Unequip it and equip it again, should fix the borked slots. Happens all the time.

Headed there now, just looted Vybor mil base. Think I may bypass the airfield though and stick to the woods until the exp build gets pushed out, hopefully won't wipe my chars. -

So you want everything to be manual and only snaploaders allow for a shorter reload time? What about magazines? Also your opinion is not an argument, its just a statement with only your opinion backing it. Why is it too easy? How is it too fast? Indeed... everything that causes an action is 'causal'... not sure where you were going with that. -

I agree, I want this bad. Doesn't make any sense not to be able to chamber by pressing 'r' when we can reload with snaploaders and mags by pressing r. The only downside I see is it making snaploaders/clips/speedloaders irrelevant, but that could be easily fixed by letting the snaploaders decrease reload time by half compared to reloaded loose ammo (which is what they are for in reality, right?). That, and as someone said, it should be limited to loose ammo in shirt and pants pockets. -
Finding other players the past two times I've been on 1/40 servers, far away from spawn points. Other than that, running north of the newishish town in the far NW. The woods there are haunted by the ghosts of giants, they drive men and women who dare to enter mad as they try to make their way through the forest. :murder:

I've had this happen to me upon respawning once, think it was because I spawned on a hill but the game places me 'above' it so I dropped down and took some damage and started bleeding. Haven't seen it since though.

Please add slow (Romero-style) zombies as a server option.

I'm thinking this will come with modding after release due to current lore, but who knows. DayZ zombies aren't your typical undead, they're just infected living according to official lore. Would love to see this though, and a host of different zombie types. -

I'm 100% sure any hacker I see would eventually get banned in a ban wave (haven't seen any yet in 150+ hours). Logs and stuff. Now, maybe not if it was an actual 'hacker', as in someone not using some paid for aimbot/gps, but who knows.

Battleeye will ban him soon enough, and his mommy and daddy will have to buy another copy of DayZee for him to play more. Nothing you can do but go to a different server and hope they fix the exploits and security holes afaik.

The timer only kicks in if you try to log back in before a certain amount of time, not sure the exact time but it is short. Should've just had your buddy watch you while you went afk since you just had to bio. -

Because I've been obsessed with zombie apocalypses since I saw Night of the Living Dead when I was 6 or 7. That was why I started anyway. Now I play because of the intense moments and to spite the bastards that nail me in the back of the head with a xbow bolt whilst I marvel at a soda can in the back of a police car.

Winning my first firefight when some dude cornered me up some stairs with no way back down. Okay, maybe not so much a firefight, as I waited until he was bandaging from zombies before going prone at the top and sniping with a b95, but it was very satisfying to feel like I've won for once. -
I remember watching a video where some people used a rotting pig carcass (or rather, the liquefying fat from it I believe) as fuel for a genny. Humans find a way. Also would it really evaporate if it was stored in tanks and whatnot too? Dang.
