This is funny. I actually dropped all my crap for a fresh spawn that flipped me off and sat down, waiting to get shot by me (lsr'd mosin, sawed off, pistol with mags, full mil gear etc). Then I proceeded to run around naked in electro until I fell down some stairs in the firehouse and broke my legs. Is it really worth dying over and over in an attempt to knock out a friendly geared char when half the time they would drop decent crap for you anyways?

Yeah I want an over-under, the side by side doesn't really get it for me. Triple barrel would be nice too. And a Saiga. And, and... homemade single shot crafted shotguns...

Afaik, a broken arm doesn't affect anything yet, so if you're legs aren't broken I'd say make a suicide run for food/well. I'd imagine a single hit from a zed will kill you though since you're grey and hungry...

^ why? It's not like he's gonna track you down or anything :P Since I found that new town in the NW part of the map I head there, looting whatever town I come across as I go. Once I get settled in, I make daily loot routes hitting up several garages, barns, offices, airfield etc. Never met any players on my route yet, I've found where they've died to zeds and other players though (ruined gear everywhere). I run if I see other players in general, unless I'm a bambi.

Man some bambi tried this on me when I afk'd for like two seconds in a bush, they got a few hits in, but it was nothing two mags from an Fnx couldn't handle. :P (I am a pisspoor shot when I'm panicking and in third person :blush: ) Is this staged? I just can't believe this guy just let you knock him out and he wasn't even afk.

What if you're in a town without zeds? Or out in the wilderness or on the second floor of a building with the guys that broke your legs blocking your exit? (actually happened to me) Your option is to 1. leave your computer on for hours depending on what your characters status was so you can die or 2. hop server in hopes that you can find someone to kill you/building *without* griefers blocking your path. We really need an insta suicide option, regardless of where we are or what condition we are in.

Oh man, I love me a kukri. Have a Cold Steel two hander myself, that would make short work of a zed horde for sure. Eventually I hope they add this, even the ability to craft our own from leather once hunting hits.

you have to find the right type of bush and press 'f' on it, there is no prompt to pick berries yet. They will randomly show up in your inventory. spoiler on which type is safe to eat... Edit: Also, we can't see the berries on the bushes yet, you just have to find the right type of bush and press 'f' in em to search.

Stay in glowing healthy status and you won't have that problem. Shouldn't even break a leg if it's really one flight of stairs, I've done the same and it just ruined my pants. It makes sense for a small fall to kill you (or at least break a leg) if you've been injured and not in good health before hand.

You think I haven't tried every trick in the book? Rolling? Vaulting? Logging back in while doing both? Setting the everything to 'very high'? Crawling? Sprinting during login? None of it worked after an hour of trying. Please, do tell me how to get out of this situation. Trust me, I've gotten out of several wall glitched areas before, but they fixed something since the last patch so there would be less wall glitchers in the prison buildings. Afaik anyways. On topic, everyone has died like that. Everyone. It's a part of the game, embrace it. My first time getting shot to death when I had nothing was more 'unfair' than this, at least that guy had a reason to crack yer skull in.

Amias (hardcore server) Need someone to try to kill me Glitched into an un-exitable room on login in the office building west of the NW airfield. (server reset while I was on the second floor) I can glitch my head/backpack out of the room (I think), so I just need someone to come bash my head in. I'm fully hydrated/energized and healthy, I can't bear the hours it would take to die from that. Just tried to kill myself from eating everything I had, didn't work, knocked off healthy status for a bit and that's it after I threw up. Then I tried injecting three morphine injectors, didn't work.

I just don't get zed health sometimes. I one shotted one once with a baseball bat, hit it right in the head while it was leaping at me and killed it. Then some chick one with a pink blazer and skirt comes out of the trees and it takes 10+ hits just to knock it down.

That's the beauty of it though. You have access to all that without having to risk yourself. My daily circuit takes me across a large portion of the northern highway during peak hours. I can stock up on food, weapons, mods, change my clothes up etc during the day, with very little chance of getting PK'd, while still being able to retreat to my little haven. Then when night falls, I can scavenge the airfield for anything I might need, including the thrill. Then I can trudge my way back home to my little gaslamp in a tool shed :'D
