Is anyone in DayZ Standalone friendly?

I'm generally friendly, but I've been on the receiving end of unfriendlys too many times. I will go into a confrontation with my gun at low ready; and if possible I will try to sneak up and get the drop on someone. At that point we do the exchange and I try to make a gut decision about how it's going to go. I've met some good people that way, and a few not so much. Luckily, those "not so much" times were no longer a problem. The latest was a guy that didn't say anything. I waved, he gave me the finger. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he just hit the wrong key, but alas it wasn't to be. So I shot him in the face. I really enjoy the option of helping people. I was just leaving Berezino with a friend (actually someone who I met by getting the drop on him) and lightly geared woman was in trouble. It looked like she was trying to attack the zombie with a chemlight. At any rate, she went unconscious. I was unsuccessful at reviving her, but maybe the player had a little more faith in his/her fellow players after that.

    Ella's standalone guide

I don't give two sheets about the color. Just keep the contrast good. Good job on the guide.
