And who exactly said I take this as pure deathmatch? I'm tired of always running thousands of miles and seeing two guys and then being killed by some sniper. Now it's my turn, only if I'd see someone.

I hear gunshots all around in a city and occasionally someone actually shoots at me, but I just can't figure out where they are. For like 15 minutes I tried to investigate where the gunshots are coming, but I couldn't see anyone from an apartment building where I was. I heard two guns shooting, an M4 very close to me, and maybe someone firing a Mosin at me from further away. Eventually I quit because it got boring. How can you locate where the shooting is coming from, since the sounds seems to be somehow weird. This happens way too often when I have a gun. Either I hear shooting but can't find anyone, or someone is shooting at me and I might see him. Very rarely I catch someone entirely off guard with a good gear.

I'm getting tired of being constantly worried will my bullets actually reach my enemies before they move and will my punches hit the guy I'm trying to hit. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, but you can never be sure, and that's what sucks the most. I usually get killed in firefights, and that's okay, but it's unbelievably frustrating to die because of the game. Now for instance, I was in the north east airstrip with an SKS and went to the military building. There I saw like three dead guys inside which I couldn't loot. Then I went upstairs and heard shooting, and after a while I heard footseps. "Okay, don't freak out, this time I'm prepared" I thought, and went to prone and aimed at the stairs. Then I saw a head popping out and shot three bullets at it. Well, head went away and I saw bullet holes appearing in the stairs. Well, that's okay, maybe I have better luck next time. Then I carefully went to the other side of the stairs to see downstairs. Again, I believe it's the same guy standing there, I shoot at least 6 shots at him, and he ran away (or died and warped the other side) again. Fuck this, I though, and went downstairs behind the stairs. Then a guy appears behind me (When I got there, he wasn't there) and shoots me and calls me gay. Again Mukaparska was killed by lag or a hacker and must loot millions of houses to find some gear, only to be killed again by bad luck, lag or by panicking. I'm not really wondering why there's so many server hoppers. I can feel their frustration. Also, finding decent servers is pain in the ass. I don't want to play in pitch black night, I don't want to play in the most laggiest server, I don't want to play with only few other players and I don't want to play experimental or hardcore if my regular character has good gear.

But why is it so inconsistent? It seems like ping barely affects it, and it's only about pure luck do people lag or not.

Why do I always get stuffed before I'm fully energized? Now I never get healthy. Is it because I eat everything at once? It's pretty damn annoying. This also happens in DayZ.

Is anyone else worried that this game might get too far from its original point in the future? I mean, many people want some sort of security cameras and similar things for this game so they can occupy a place entirely and stay there. Personally I think it would go too far, since this game is about survival, not anything like that. Cars are fine, maybe even an unarmed helicopter, and some sort of tents and sleeping places, but that's pretty much about it. Also I'm against of million different kind of servers, since I hate when so many games have 100 bullshit servers and 2 good servers. Anyone agree with me, at least with the first part?

But the main point of this game is exactly surviving and looking for basic necessities. If you don't like it, don't play this and play some Minecraft instead. Of course I could suggest they could add FPS shooting and zombie breakout to Gran Turismo 6 since I don't like driving cars. Or then I could play some FPS shooter zombie game?

Many of you have said "occupying bases is part of survival" etc. , but that's exactly what I'm against (except maybe barricading houses, but I don't know how that would affect the game's mechanics). Of course in real life at some part, humans would unite and create a safe community to live, with small economy and such, that's the best way to SURVIVE and that's how our modern civilization started to form thousands of years ago. But the thing is, that this game is not about that. This game is about survival in a "no man's land", where everyone might be an enemy and you're constantly "dependent" on loot and supplies. This is not Minecraft where you are "surviving" at first, but then you build a house and become self-sufficient and zombies and other "dangers" are only a minor nuisance. The main point of this game should not change. This should not become an ARMA RP on post-apocalyptic setting. I've also read original DayZ mod would've lost it's main point and is basically a gang war game on post-apocalyptic world these days. Really? What is the point of all this if it becomes like normal ARMA RP? Isn't DayZ SUPPOSED to be loot-n-shoot? Yes, because as far as I know, surviving is the main point of this game? If you don't want to "survive", play some other game. If I want to shoot people in a game, I don't suggest that they add firearms to Gran Turismo so it would become an FPS shooter. I simply play something else then.

I've thought this myself too. I think it would make things a bit more interesting, but on the other hand, beginners would probably keep suiciding as long as they get some cool starting gear...

I've never seen any other scope than PU scope. Where the hell are they, never seen one in any of the military bases?? Also I'm getting tired on always finding 7.62x39mm ammunition and SKS. Sometimes I find other weapons, like today I found FNX, Mosin and Shotgun on the same house, but absolutely the most common weapon for me is SKS (which I had with me in that situation and I also had only 7.62x51mm)

If they make rain somehow "dangerous" or something which FORCES you to stay in one spot, I'll rather change server or stop playing entirely. The game is already rather boring, I wouldn't really like if it becomes even more boring.

I never hide weapons. First of all, I don't bother to do it, and secondly, I think other players have the right to survive too. I don't leave ammo hanging around though. Yesterday I saw a guy in Rify, and asked does he need anything. Then we went to the deck and I saw Amphibia S. I called that guy over there and pointed the weapon. Then I gave him some ammo.

How fucking long it will take to fix this problem? It's pretty frustrating trying to find a decent server for 20 minutes, and then spawn in front of someone who fucking shoots you... Especially when I haven't seen anyone for ages. This game is pretty much a single-player game now, where eventually something is scripted to kill you. The best thing about this game, interaction with other players, doesn't seem to exist anymore.
