After going to that military camp near Cherno with four deer stands I just asked myself:''WTF?'' There are three zeds per stand and when you kill all three of them, they instantly respawn and chase you!I killed at least 3 scores of them to see will they end, but no, they just kept coming and I got out of it with 3 magazines of AKM less and 3000 blood less too. Then,I visited Cherno main square ( no I wasn't shot because I took five player server ) , and after going through city,in all alleys and squares i practically found about score, dozen or dozen & half more zeds inside city.After going to firestation I attracted attention so I had to shot and after dozen zeds,none came.It is a bit f.cking weird that city ( if you can call this little capital city Cherno ) has less inhibitants then military camp with dozen tents. Spawn rates are joke in lot of locations,and this is only one example.I'd rather have spawn rate stagering slow then speed of lighting.My opinion would be to optimaze deer stand respawn,make all other respawns x3 longer, but increase zed amount drastically.Like x10 for cities, but x2 for villages, and x3for army... army sure did not consist of half a dozen NATO soldiers in some military camps :P Conclussion,if you were too lazy to read, drastically lower spawn rate and drastically rise living dead amount. Oh and I wouldn't have anything against much scarcer weapon spawn and ammo spawn. Creating gun stores would be bullseye, no more finding two-three winchesters in small barn with at least 50 bullets. Looking forward to 1.8 :)
