Everything is currently down due to a asshat with a cmd prompt. Hope he doesn't like internet, wont be able to get it for 10 years after this report goes through :) -
Since our last idea didn't go so well, we've changed the location and the way to find out where we are. The colony will provide everything it did before, just out of a new location. To find out where the colony is go HERE and you'll need 5 posts to get off newly registered user status to see the colony area. We're hoping that this way we can limit the amount of raids/hackers coming to destroy the base. Any questions/comments/concerns can be posted here or on our forums. Thanks for reading ^.^

Okay so I had this idea a while back, and never really got to try it out so I was wondering if anyone thinks this is a good idea/wants to help out. I have probably 10 people already willing to help with this. We have a certain spot that you can only enter from one way (wont give any more info on location yet) and we want to fortify it, and guard it. We want to have a sort of trading post out of it, along with a safe haven for survivors in need. We could provide security and food, trade for things we may need or if someone else needs them. This wouldn't be like the other trading post, on for a few hours a day or whatever. If we didn't have anymore friendlies at the colony we could simply move the vehicles to a off-site location that wouldn't be advertised like the location of the colony itself would be if this idea even works. Near this location we have a few high-traffic towns along with great water/food sources all within 1K/m Have dedicated in-house medical staff with everything you could need to fix yourself up. Can also trade for medical supplies. We may have 'colony' events where we do something fun in a insanely large group. Example: Say we only had 20 people, 10 / 2 = 2 parties of 5 looting nearby towns/gathering water and food 5 long range security (snipers) 5 CQ security/traders We could also set some procedures to get the post up and running. We could have a TeamSpeak for it, or maybe just channels on my already running TS (512 slots) I have a 64 slot server we can do this on that runs extremely well. (DayZ server) Post here if your interested, or if you have some suggestions as this idea isn't that well thought out. But it could be quite cool.

I apolgize, but you have to understand we get constantly attacked and the sniper fired on you (without reason) 4 times in the head and you walked away and were like 'Aw fucck..." lol.

Unbanned, on our screen u wouldn't die and we get hacked easily 20+ X's a day. Maybe we over react sometimes, but hackers are rampant on most servers, and even more ours because it's advertised as a friendly colony. Hackers are nothing near friendly as we all know. I hope BattleEye sorts this shit soon.

What kind of proof you want ? I can get you a decent vehicle for these items.

Why can't we have this spawn taken out? Having islands that are 'semi safe' would make for cool camp sites etc. Could also make boats more useful then they are now. Sure the chopper spawns there but it might make people hold the island off from attackers while the others attempt to find parts.

Appreciate the feedback, I don't mind SOME of the banditry, but when hackers come my other admins and I react a bit fast maybe, but this is because we're getting attacked ALL day EVERY day. Personally, if you hack I don't care (Sure its gay but its your GUID). When you come and drop people from the sky and shit that's when your just being a griefing asshole. -

That message has been there since day 1 as it comes default in the .cfg provided by DayZ. I find it funny you say admins track players, which everyone knows admins have no power but to restart/shutdown. In the beginning of the colony, we had different admins. After going through logs I've removed admin from the herp derps that were on the staff team.
