My main problem with this is that it's essentially just adding hunger or thirst with a different name. The permanent aspect of it I don't like. We already have hunger and thirst so... Yeah... Now if taking the serum made you no longer sick but infection was permanent so now you can't donate blood or it will infect or maybe kill the other player I could jump on with that. On the other hand if the looping and permanent aspect is something you're not willing to part with, then I will disagree with how many items you're destroying in this process especially because you have the unnecessary middle man item serum vial. Unless there would be other uses for the serum vial. Which I can't foresee given the info. How about using the needle with the blood bag and injection vial separately and giving each a percentage value that will decrease on use with the needle, and if the blood bag is used to replenish blood later it will lower the amount replenished based on percentage. I say this because a hypodermic needle wouldn't hold an entire bag of blood plus an injection vial. Over all with a lot tweaking I see it's plausibility but I do think they plan on implementing something to do with zombie infection as is. I just still dislike the idea that it's too easy to get bleeding as a fresh spawn and you're essentially just guaranteeing a hunger/thirst with another name slapped on it.

See, in dayz sa chernarus is actually a part of the us that Russia took in the war of 2024 after a somewhat drastic technological decline. In the conflict for the us to take it back in 2032, zombies. See how I did that?

It would help deter a lot of server hopping and such but until servers as a whole are more efficient it would actually be a hindrance and limit too many people. Also if a clan has 50+ people they should really look into their own server

This thread is getting pretty off topic... There are threads for bugs and exploits. And I'm sure there are threads for whining about people who choose to play on low pop servers. Although how they annoy you or affect you in anyway is beyond me. As for op no I would assume that someone dropped for any of the previously stated reasons. Congrats and enjoy :)

Agreed. I think it's good enough that you have to load mags. But for hardcore servers maybe an extra step or two. Or just a slightly longer timeframe to reload in general. Considering once you get used to frequently handling a weapon irl reloading becomes second nature, almost like pushing a key on a keyboard. Military experience, not some redneck.

Yeah... Uh it's interesting and all but... Before the devs sit around hashing out details of an in depth lore and history etc... Let's let them focus on making the game first. Since it is alpha. Why establish facts that could change as things fall into place. This is probably the lowest priority thing I've seen. Even below colored shoelaces. At least while it's alpha, let's leave this to fans and imagination. If we are discussing the EVENTUAL necessity, I won't even agree with that but more plausible than any immediate use of the dayz teams time. Sorry for the disagree, forums man, forums.

They would be great as well for spotters on over watch teams that are part of the clans with the more tactical focus. Seen as though these groups will really make up the majority of consistent player base because the solo/kos players will get easily bored or quit as changes come out making these options less viable(more zombies and glitch fixes for example), then go back to the no risk fps' or rust or mine craft. I love those games lol but soon the play style will be much more exclusive. I would put binos at a higher priority than some of the simply cosmetic changes I've seen. Opinion of course. Feel free to bash.

Back to topic, my first spawn I jumped off a rail in a warehouse cuz stairs are for chumps or so I thought. As I crawled in the prone with a broken leg being beaten to death by a zombie I took a moment to reflect and decidedly stairs have since become a great invention IMO. Second spawn, went back to that warehouse for sentimental reasons. Found a burlap sack and out of curiosity put it on my head. If you don't know bout the sack, it's bad. Don't wear it. A zombie took advantage of my indisposed state. Still no clue how to remove a sack or if it's even possible. Since then I agree players kill me too often and I must try this underwear ax combo soon.

Upon character creation, I decided my character would be a man. So when I spawn I rip my shirt into rags, then I stand and fight the first zed I see. I punch him in the torso til he falls then I let him get back up cuz I fight like a man. Then I hand him my fire ax to make it fair and uppercut the crap out of him. Then I take a dump in a burlap sack and put it on the other fresh spawns head who is watching my battle in amazement. Unless it's a girl then I force feed her my rotten banana. Like a man.

Right click the compass and click "inspect" the picture that appears is actually oriented with your angle. But the picture is also not angled perfectly. The large arrow on the dial itself Is north. The arrow on the lid is the direction you're facing. So before you ask after trying it no you can't use it to navigate while moving.

I'm red, and I met my first friendly player today. I had some decent gear and was in a military jail. When I noticed all the doors were open. I continued upstairs and saw there was one closed door. Talk about panic attack. I opened and... Pew pewpew. So I take a step back and type friendly in chat as my mic doesn't work. He replied ok and apologized saying he's just used to shooting on sight bc others have done it to him. It seems to be a real cycle there I fear I will soon become a defensive kos player.
