Thats total BS, it would take a couple of minutes to write a tweet/post with a simple explanation, they don't need to go into depth just how they are getting on with it and the problem its causing. And to be honest with all the money they have made, YES i would love for them to hire a community manager like any decent company would have already. With the amount of buttlove you have been handing out to the devs it wouldn't surprise me if it was more than just coincidence that your called Ellen Ripley and that DayZ dev dude is called Hicks. -

He maybe refuses to believe a company would be willing to lose so much credibility by promising so much and giving so little over and over (and over). -

Hopefully they will learn now not to give dates of when they intend to push to stable because they are just embarrassing themselves, i hear you cry ALPHA but it seems like they are a bunch of cowboys. Doesn't matter now anyway the snowball effect has started they will be forever chasing their asses. They have narrowed this bug down (not actually found it yet) but then theres still all the other bugs that will need fixing, and then when experimental updates all those bugs aswell and so on. -

Where on earth did you come from? Nope they will tell us about 20 mins after the deadline (which they didn't meet) that they are crushing bugs still Blame Dean, hes the one who merged 2 versions into one thread. Good to see the Dayz team being active again though letting us all know whats happening. I swear they couldn't arrange a piss up in a brewery. -

I don't mean to rant Bullshit, I do apologize for taking away from your forum experience. This thread would be boring as hell if it was just the #Dayzfanboys in here though. It would be sickly. -

I'm sure the team are laughing it up at the people who are rolling onto their backs and seem to think the team can't do wrong even though they are pushing under par content. They just fear the rest of us because they know we are onto them. The reason why its going so slow is because you guys are allowing them to, why should they run when they can slow walk and still make the #Dayzfanboys happy -

That would suggest the devs take note of the feedback page. For a dude on the Dayz team to say "Exp is running awesome" today on twitter is a huge F-you to anyone who has posted a report regarding .42. I really don't think anyone is that much of a tool so i put it down to the team not taking note of feedback. -

Did you get that quote from the devs? that would make sense why updates are becoming less frequent. -

The #Dayzfanboy count is too damn high in here, no wonder they are getting complacent with their updates you guys will give them buttlove regardless of what they churn out. -

I agree no PC player cares but the devs still find time to drop it into conversation which is just rediculous. We have been warned about the Beta being no sooner than the end of the year (yeah right) but any decent developer wouldn't abuse that sentence and keep their fans in the dark 95% of the time and just push absolute garbage when (if) an update takes place. They would be better off not having a scheduled maintenance period "every" wednesday and just pushing whenever. Along with that just scrap any social interaction if they can only muster it after an update was "scheduled" to have taken place. -

FYI this game will never be finished, they are struggling to push to stable even once a month. It will have way past its sell by date before it even comes close. I love how people are excited for stuff like underground labs/creating their own infection, in what world do these people live in? and don't even entertain the possiblilty of a console port. -

You must be new around here. Your at least a month off on that estimate. We're into months now since the last update. Would be nice to hear anything at all to be honest maybe they are so embarrassed about .42 that they have gone into hiding. -

There is no way of ever knowing, even when they set a date they fail to make the deadline
