They will most likely merge them into the current notes, causing much mess and confusion as to what exactly has changed. Also they will fill it out with a few things that havn't really been implemented aswell. -

I agree it has been said a million times, I do read and listen I just don't believe. Get the fundamentals sorted first and foremost, then add stuff later, they can still work on other stuff just don't release it until the fundamentals are fixed. -

And my worry is that you can't polish a turd, i fear some of the updates in this one will fall into the "we cant fix these lets leave them around for so long that hopefully people will get used to them" category like the clipping zombies, axe bullet sounds, and random ambient drinking/splitting/zombie noises to name a few. -

His opinion on what needs fixing in terms of priority was totally valid. You get a fail for that reply. I know right, you would have expected them to learn from the mistake the first time round wouldn't you. I'm putting money on the next weapon that becomes paintable having the exact same issue. Either that or the next weapon they will claim is paintable and in actual fact isn't (like the axe) -

If a team can't create a rig with textures correctly weight painted and rigged well enough for simple animation then there really is no hope. From looking at what animation is already in i very much doubt its a texture issue. -

I wonder the same thing, being an animator myself it wouldn't be hard to rattle through a good handful in a week and have them polished and ready to go. -

You almost sound like they are doing us a favour by letting us play the alpha, let's be honest without us this game would never ever ever have been finished (I still don't believe it ever will). With all the money they have made I really would have expected them to be able to get the fundamentals right by now. The problem with painting the sks and it turning into a single shooter like the mosin did speaks a lot really. -

It has been a fail in communication regarding its release, the patch itself is a fail with all the desync/lag and some of the "updates" arnt even in, They failed by merging the patchnotes into the older version to make it look like there were more... -

Thanks man, not only are the Dayz team useless at relaying information we now have to decipher the b*****d patchnotes to make sense of them. The reason why they merged both patchnotes is clearly to make it look like they had done more work (or hide the lack of) and not have people wondering what the hell the devs have been upto for the past few weeks. -
