I can think of a few places, since the map is 225 square km. And if all else fails I'll just build a hangar out of sandbags ^^

Any news yet? Maybe the whole thing about the plane not having the parts to repair it is a problem(planes only have hull I believe). And in totally unrelated news, does anyone know if the new upcoming War Z has planes/helis or even some sort of vehicles for that matter?

Megatron op de een of andere manier zie ik je in elke thread met the search tag dutch haha. Ik weet niet wat je precies onder adults verstaat. Ben zelf 22 dus mocht je nog mensen zoeken voor je groep doe ik graag een keer mee. Ik heb al at random op een aantal threads gereageerd dus misschien ontstaat er vanzelf een nederlandse club.

I have been playing for quite some time now and have come across multiple ways to dupe stuff, literally by just playing the game. Most of them involved getting desynced, stuff didn't save properly, clicking on items multiple times etc. For example the whole disconnect in car thing which I believe is fixed for a while now ( not actively trying out these things ). The flip side is that you say we can report these things, but if I go about and describe a duping process here or on devheaven, everyone can read and abuse it. Are there private bug submissions I'm not aware of? Can we just e-mail that to the dayz mail or something. I'm sorry if this is in a sticky, I'll go look for it right now. Another side note I want to make is that with bugs like these a reproducibility method is asked. Is there an easy way to get rid of the stuff after you confirmed the process? Just drop it on the ground maybe.

Does this mean the desync/fuel leak issues are fixed. How hard would it be to remove radars. I'm not too familiar with arma modding

Helicopter will be the endgame for me. They are rumored to come back soon. When they do I'll be flying around towns all day. Picking up randoms and what not. Flying does not get boring, at least not for me ^^ -

Sounds like an overflow issue. router gets lots of udp requests and thinks it's being attacked so it auto shuts down. Had something like that with my old router. I believe the factory reset worked for me. Ended up with a new router when I changed ISP. edit: try looking at this http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Router_Slowdown -

Installing the beta should be enough if you have both dll files in the right folder. if not try running the BE installer located in the BEsetup folder -

He prefers to stay with BIS but if they don't want to the project might go to a different engine. It's easier to expand on the current engine then to build from scratch on another. Bottom line is that if they don't act fast enough clones off dayz will start popping up in 1 or 2 years. It would be best if DayZ is the first actual game to get released. (not as mod)

Met meer man heb je ook meer ogen die opletten. Cover geven wordt ook beter aangezien je meerdere spots kan hebben, laten we zeggen 50 meter uit elkaar. Het travelen (lopen w/e) is eigenlijk ook geen issue. Of je nou met 6 of 3 loopt het valt net zo erg op. Voordeel met 6 man is ook nog is dat je meestal lone wolf bandits afschrikt. Mocht deze georganiseerde chaos nog steeds leven dan doe ik graag een keertje mee :) 22 jaar, iets meer dan 2 maanden aan dayz bezig. Op het moment fully geared. bezigheid: choppers looten om eindelijk is die l85 thermal te vinden en zodra ze weer werkende choppers toevoegen, full time piloot. skype: aero_dax

So you agree he can stop certain scripts from working. I really only care about the global kill scripts. I do not care at all if someone wants to spawn a battleship on cherno. I'll have a laugh and move on. These random global kills is the real mood killer and I believe it's doable to block these commands in DayZ. Even better is to just revert all characters 5 minutes in the database if they died on a certain server together with 10 or more people within 5 seconds orso. (obvious global kill) -

Can you at least agree it's slightly annoying that when you're playing on a server with stuff you acquired over several days/weeks and all of the sudden you drop dead together with the rest of the server only to hear some random troll song playing in group channel. This just happened 15 minutes ago. I know all about not getting attached but if people really wanna kill dayz this is the right way. I'll prolly just start over anyway but I'm tempted to just figure out a script myself that prevents me from getting global killed. A defensive cheat if you will. Not to be confused with invincibility i might add. -

Sooooooooooo, Since Ander hinted that choppers might return in the possibly very near future, I'd like to know what he or the other devs think of adding the an-2. Someone pitched that it was in a way early version, which I can't find any record of. Anyway I think it should be added (again?). We've been pushing the whole idea for a while now so a yes/no/maybeinthestandalone kind of answer would be greatly appreciated. bump in disguise? you decide ;)

I can only play on 94945+ servers since the whole radical BE updates. Even a total reinstall of everything didn't work (wanted to go to 94876 again). Everything below 94945 causes my arma 2 OA to stop working once I'm almost fully loaded into the server. atm I'm running 94997 and everything is going smooth but the server numbers are still low. -

current patch is 94997. I just checked and there are about 15-20 servers. Best bet is to download that one. It's a new one, just released. edit: I just got off SE 4, so that one is confirmed working for me. I believe it's a testing server as well so they usually have the latest patches/beta installed. -

Only thing working for me is going to http://www.battleye.com/download.html and download the client and server dll for 94945+ and only play 94945 and higher version servers. from the BE site: (Put these files into a folder called "BattlEye" in the "Expansion" folder of your OA install directory) I wanted to get 94876 working but even a full reinstall and sixupdater run didn't work. -
Almost 150 positve posts so far. We are gonna push this through until the end :D or until a dev shoots the idea out of the air. Maybe they don't read suggestions until the horrid bugs are ironed out? Let's do this people.

That's a mod right? AFAIK the an-2 is the smallest prop aircraft. Looks good either way

With 1.7.2 out and possibly a fix in the near future for choppers, maybe the an-2 is closer than we think :)

Lots of positive replies so far, maybe a dayz staff member can shed some light on the subject. 125 posts should be enough to at least get a short opinion :D How does one get their attention? PM is off I think.
