Bio
A somewhat experienced player to dayz. Big fan of it ever since I first played it as a mod for ARMA 2. "friendly bandit"

If this ever gets added in the future, that corpses of players will stay in servers until restart, I would also like to see corpses of soldiers, police and civilians to be randomly placed around the map in cities or military outposts and with loot placed on the body according to what they where such as a dead police officer having handcuffs, pistol or a radio on him and have his clothes loot-able but in damaged or worse condition. I believe this will be added to zombies but I think having the corpses will be a nice touch to the DayZ Experience. I also would think this would benefit players who have recently spawned and will have a difficult time fighting off zombies.

Clothing Pockets (Separate the inventory slots!)

Love this idea. Would add a lot of realism to Dayz. No more sticking medical kits in my pants -

Should certain scents be able to overpower others, such as a campfire overpowering a scent of a rotting corpse or vice-versa.

Thank you for the advice. Ill keep that in mind next time I post.

I would love to see this in place. Maybe if a gun gets shot in a certain part or is poorly maintained, you might have to find replacement parts. Also, this could add some variation to weapons such as give a shotgun a rifled barrel or a smooth barrel and give the M4 a M16 variant that the players could make if they had the correct parts on them. I still think guns should spawn as a whole weapon but also players could find parts and pieces to repair or make a firearm if they had the right tools and maybe they might need a manual for each weapon to do this such a M4 booklet since not everyone knows how to put together a firearm from part.

Ever since I first played the mod DayZ for ARMA 2, I didn't like how safe the woods were. Some of the things that I would hope to see implemented when standalone adds hunting and animals is deadly creatures in some woods such as large elk, bears and snakes. This might give players a reason to stay on roads instead of stick to trees or take shortcuts in woods and might put some fear in players at night going into woods since there could be creatures that could easily kill them. Another feature I would like to see is bee's nest to spawn on some random trees. If a tree gets cut down or knocked down by a player it could cause bee's to chase the player and cause damage and injury. Since physics feature is right around the corner, maybe you could throw a rock at a nest to knock it down and harvest honey from it or store the honey in a container. Since Dayz is a zombie mod and animals could carry diseases, maybe there should be zombie creatures in the woods as well as normal wildlife that have infected meat on them and could have a distinct scent that the player could smell to warn him that one is nearby as well as a different look than normal wildlife. Here are some pics to help give you an idea of what I was thinking of: Zombie Bear: Bee's Nest: Example of Dangerous Wildlife:

Ever since the initial release of Dayz Standalone, weapon attachments was a new interesting addition. While I do like the system that is currently in place, I was hoping for more realistic systems to be Implemented. One of my ideas were that some attachments might have to require things like screwdrivers or other tools to be able to be placed on guns and some don't such as the M4 iron sight and ACOG since they have screws that allow you to tighten by hand as you can see below. Another idea I had for weapon sights that most players will probably hate is having players sight in scopes and sights so that they are accurate since not every sight you pick up will be properly adjusted to your gun such as adjusting your sight left or right and up and down, since most guns don't have the same bullet trajectory such as Mosin that shoots a 7.62x54r would have a different bullet trajectory compared to a SKS that shoots a 7.62x39. While this idea might aggravate some players I believe it might add a great deal of realism to the weapons of DayZ.
