Damn, I spent ages today getting all the stuff for that bow. My hunting based survival strategy may need to go. Guess it's back to apples :(

Looks to me like the bow is broken on 0.55: Firstly the animation is kind of screwed up but you also can't fire by clicking. Anyone getting the same thing?

How do you walk everywhere? It must take ages to go from town to town. I think until vehicles are put in properly then you can be excused to run!

Are you a group or lone wolf or both? Lone wolf. I wish I was in a group but have no one to play with. Are in a clan or are you free agent with just some fiends? A clan would be awesome, how do I get one? Do you play to survive as long as possible or does it even matter? As long as possible. I HATE being a fresh spawn. Do you pvp to survive or is something you do just for pure thrills or both? I try to avoid people. When they boredom is strong though I'll go looking for people, usually just ends up with me dying. Do you have any rules of engagement? Or do treat case by case..or do you just hate everyone? Lol When I first started I would have been friendlly but now everyone is a treated as a hostile. Unfortunately that's just he way the community is and will always be. Have you dabled in RPing? Not really in Dayz, it's too difficult while it's still incomplete Are you a hero or bandit? Or do you find those terms bs? Neither, I don't think those terms mean jack shit. Everyone is a hero or bandit depending on their mood. Were do gravitate urban areas or prefer being in the woods? Woods. Being able to live off the land in the wilderness really appeals to me. Do you focus on survivalist type stuff or do you just play to pvp. Survivalist. Although I don't think the current survivalist mechanics are anywhere near adequate. The game will be PvP until they are. What is idea of what makes a good dayz player? What is good? Just play how you like and enjoy yourself. Are you a minimalist or are you a hoarder? Horder. I like stuff. Do you pvp or just avoid it? Avoid. Do you just stay in one area or do you like to explore the map? I like to move around, that's really more about necessity than exploration though. What do you define as being successful in game? Surviving in a self sufficient way.

Wait what? Why wouldn't eastern europe have people that can fly? They aren't cavemen.

Why would a plane or helicopter need to defend itself? If someone is shooting at you just fly higher.

The thing about zombie apocolypses is that they are all about the theory. It's basically what would real life be like if you added in zombies. The zombies themselves don't necessarily have to make sense but everything else does.

I got myself stuck on a picket fence the other day having only drove my first ever V3S for 7 seconds. Daaaaaamn, can't wait until vehicles are properly implemented. Are you stuck on the tree to the left?

Turns out I was playing on the broken servers that had zero loot. I was also very unlucky to get 5 of them in a row too. Finally found a working one and there is some food inland. All good then. I think the pot and frying pan requirement for cooking is pretty silly. You just want to make so that the food doesn't kill you, not cook a 5 star meal.

I am taking it on board. I'm playing right now and doing ok actually. Filling up on apples like the few helpful people said and searching for deer stands. Kind of boring picking the apples but I'm not dying so quickly now. I think the no loot servers was the problem. I wasn't lying when I said there was nothing. (Although 5 different servers in a row and 5 lives is pretty goddamn unlucky). Finding some stuff now and there does seem to be more as you go inland. Thanks for the advice whoever told me that (S3V3N?) Still a solid fuck you to every other person who called me a lazy COD 12 year old though. Still annoyed over the broken servers too. Hey look at that, some food too. Sweet. Tactical Bacon.

Talking about me? I am actually playing now and there is some loot. Was there an update today? Still no food though. And loving the aggression guys, it's very mature.

Can you at least try to outline how you get the food first? I've been playing and switching servers all week and I swear to god there is no gear any where at all. I occasionally see books or medical equipment but no clothes, weapons, food or kit. I really doubt I'm playing the same game as people here.
