yep, by hiding every type of weapon you have you will look more of a noob and less of a threat, so yes. by looking like a noob you can survive allot easyer in encounters and still be able to survive a hostage situation or a robbery :)

Was exploring deeper in the map than i normaly do to get a view of the other cities aswell. I found this city, it was very big and had allot of loot aswell as a military base at the botom of the city with 2 baracks and 1 house with jail. What makes this city nice to explore ? - Looks pretty cool, a bit like chapaevsk (4anaebck) - becides the high buildings and much lesser grass. allthough pretty nice city and allot of loot. Probably doesnt get visited allot. What did the city have ? - 4 water sources - 1 military area - few small Kiosks (like hot dog stand) , loot in every 1 of them - 1 supermarkets - a few garages - and many houses however most of the loot in the city was - 1 Clothes - 2 Food, Drinks - 3 Weapons/ammo - 4 Tools wasnt so much of any other stuff that i could find, but i bet it was there aswell, i didnt explore every single house/building. only about 40% i kind of wanted to move on on my journey. but it was in general a good city for loot. you would probably get pretty geared up by visiting it.

oh okay, yeah i didnt fully explore the town but it seems like a really awesome place to loot because its so rarely visited, so you can basically enter a full server and mostly never encounter people there :P

yeah, really hate it. i mean its not hard to kill 2 people who are looting and giving eachother medical attention etc. if he was in the bush he could have gotten both with no hacks. you just gotta strike in the right moment, thats how you get kills..

How many players have you killed (in about) doesnt have to be an exact number. How many hours have you played this game ? If you have killed 10-100 then at least be in the correct 100s or 10s - Ive killed approximitly 20-25 players. - (been playing 85 hours) Reasons: - Thought they where bandits - Because they have shot or attacked me first - (because ive known they/he/her where/are bandits) - To protect my safety - For fun (rarely) - To protect someone else - had little or no gear and needed to gear up

How do know your friends in combat, - remember how they look like ( if you are in a team then have some sort of team clothes to make yourself more visible for eachother ? ) - Communication is always the key. (use teamspeak, skype or whatever with whoever you are playing and people wont be able to hear you unlesss you want them too) Too many wierd world of warcraft suggestions. Cmon a green ring under a player ? that would make the game feel so bad. - achivements +1 - hp bar +1 - Spawn should always be random, i think spawning should be 100% random on the map. - more food, drinks and weapons, clothes, etc. More items is always nice +1

oh then it was a speed hack i saw inside the building in elektro. because i know there was a guy below me who heard me so i guarded the stairs, saw a short flash of a player and then he comes out of a room wich has no one in it and shoots a shotgun and i die. else i would have heard a reload sound if someone logged in

This is a scenario thread. Meaning that we talk and discuss reality based choices and give our oppinion on our survival strategy and such if dayz was real and we where there trying to survive. Scenario: What has happened in the Dayz game is a reality. your character is you and you only have 1 life, there is no (TRY AGAIN) Your story: (same story for everyone) You know what have happened, you know there are zombies and you seek help from the authority, and with a big group you get on a massive boat to get away from it all to be safe at sea. while waiting for the military to decontaminate the area. (cleaning it out of zombies etc) However the captain loses contact with the authority and the radar and other electronics stop to work on the ship. it hits a reef and sinks. everyone drown becide you. you now swim to the nearest beach and start your journey. 1 Rule: - you can only find Dayz items, objects, houses etc. What i would do: I would look for the nearest House, to look for: (The one on top is highest priority) - Weapon of some sort and if it is a gun i would look for ammo aswell. - Water/Drinks like pepsi etc. - Food - Clothes - Backpack Priority is a weapon due to zombies. nothing will kill you as fast as zombies, even tho hypothermia, thirst and hunger are an issue, the zombies will kill you faster than any of them. even in worst condition, a zombie near you will most likely kill you faster than that condition, unless it is a gunshot wound or broken neck. then it all depends on how much there is in that house. if it is pretty empty, or if i have ran out of supply of food and water then i would search any nearby houses aswell. I would also try to locate myself by finding a map and or compass. By knowing where you are you can pinpoint where you have been, where you are going and where it is not worth going. i would also try to settle in the same place as much as possible, i rather stay in a house and barricade myself so i can make plans of what to do. There is nothing worst than rushing and doing things without properly thinking about what to do. if i where to stay in one house i would loot anything arround the area if it is a village for example and stack up the house im currently staying in. I would also write down how much food and water im consuming so i know when to leave and how long i can stay in that one area. But you will sooner or later have to move on because you have used up all the supplies in the area. So i would stay in a area untill there is no supply left and then move on. Moving from place to place, but slowly. If i had a Firearm i would most likely Avoid firing at all costs, unless its absolutely neccesary. it will attract zombies and possible people, and you dont know if they all are friendly. - They are scared and probably tired and has a unsable psyche. - They are trying to survive. Perhaps at all cost. They might do things by rushing decisions - People are hard to predict during a disaster, and even drunk people can hurt people, and even if they are not provoked they can still be threatful and angry. Imagine that there is a big dissaster and their trying to survive in a world where zombies try to kill them. theres probably not going to be any new delivery of food or other products into the country so whats in it is all there is and you dont know how many survivors that are slowly emptying the country of supply. At least all supplys that can run out. Not sure what else to type. i probably didnt get everything but its basically it i think. Might edit this post in the future, but i will see. What would you do ?

1- can you use wrench for anything ? 2- Can you use the screwdriver for more things than opening a can ? 3- How much blood can you take from a person before or untill they die ? 4- Are saline bags better than blood bags ? 5- Are there a limit of how much saline you can get before you die ? (since it replaces blood) or is it a 100% cover, so you can keep taking blood and giving saline ? 6- Can you get shot and bandage, replace blood unlimited times without dying from bullets in your body ? 7- can you get led poisoning from bullet wounds ? 8- can you use pliers for anything ? 9- Can you use duct tape for anything ? and will there be more uses for that material ? 10- does disinfectant spray have any good uses in game ? 11- Does disinfectant tablets have any uses in game ? 12- Can you use a blood test kit on a blood bag that has been taken from someone or does it have to be used directly on the person you want tested ? (etc found bloodbag) 12- does rope have any uses in game ? 12- can you use a hammer for anything in game ? 13- Does cooking pot and frying pan have any uses ?

always run on the grass, never across. And even if theres only 2 people online. the odds are that they are in balota. Now always but many times. however they can also be on low populated servers to: - not to get killed - they might be in another military base, or one of the airfields - Elektro, people do tend to jump loot elektro aswell due to shotgun, fnx, fnx mags, ammunition or food, water - or they are jumping another city or lootable place - or maybe something else, who knows what people do in the servers.

yeah, people can put in any types of messages when you log in, making you think your character is saying that or simular. Ive gotten scary messages like. - My crouch feels itchy! - Dont be scared! - i am here (simular)

yeah, must blood test a blood bag i have :P got it a few days ago, still good blood it seems. i guess i better do some research then, better fill my inventory with shit items and start testing ..hahaah

me and my buddies found a guy with broken leg. - He wanted us to kill him - We took care of him ,fed him good food - gave him a drink or two - Handcuffed him - put a bag over his head - maybe knocked him out once or twice - after a while he was hacked with a axe - but not for a good while we said we where trained medics and that we where gonna protect him from anyone who wanted to hurt him :P

yes. Longer machete and also perhaps a bit of damage boost, if not then allot of bleeding at least. chopping anyone, anywhere with a machete causes allot of bleeding.

i dont like the SKS. not because of the range, but because i like fully automatic weapons. However the sks is perfect at close range due to it semi automatic shots and pretty decent damage. The pistols in game however work excellent: ive probably made about 50 meter shot with the revolver. It did spread a few meters from shot to shot but 5 bullets on a non moving zombie (kind of far away) eventually hit. i got a picture showing how far away the zombie stood, though the picture was taken after the zombie dissapeared. but he pretty much was arround that grass edge.
