You can be regressive and rooted in the past and continually keep playing the original mod in all it's many guises. Or you can be progressive and free to keep playing the ever expanding and improving standalone which is quite literally the future of gaming.

Logged about 50 hours now on SA. To my knowledge I have yet to kill someone. It's a great OP. try a different game if you just want a shootout. For me it's always the journey. Find that first fire-axe. Is there a slightly quicker way to balotta. Will there be cap'n crunch left in the shop. Personally when I get all geared up I'm usually to scared of losing everything again to actually get any real heroing done.

You could just get an actual sex-change. This will keep your game experience more relevant and factual. Or you could stop loading up a female character in the pitiful hope that you won't be KOS constantly. I suppose it depends on how important DAYZ is to you.

In my 27 hrs in SA I've seen 3 death squads. One Scottish. One Russian. And one polish. To be fair the polish tried their best just to survive. But the other two were just murdering b...,,,,, this is far more than a game. This is a factual social experiment.

Well cannas apart from the body looting that's all happened to me. All I'll say is don't go to elektro. Now when I spawn I head west over the hills and far away. The n-s coast road and electro are just a noob and bandit orgy. And it's putting a lot of people off dayz sa before it even really gets of the ground.

I cannot play a game it keeps giving me authentication time out. Admin please let this question run. I need answers. Right now.

I've logged about 25 hrs now on standalone. I've hated. Loved and died and survived all in equal measures. It's a truly awesome epic game. My in game tag is PYEWACKET if you find me be nice. I have yet to kill someone. And hopefully never will.

as always thanx everyone. i will try the radio set up it sounds interesting.i totally agree that you can get a feel for whatever server your on by the global chat and either join in or get out sharpish.i for one would love to see it implemented in stand alone. please keep encouraging players to stop KOS.

Will there be global type chat As in the mod. I know it cuts some of the realism aspect but it was fun and made the game more friendly.

Should server hopping be frowned upon. Especially at this stage in the game dev. Reasons being, it's simply the easiest way to stay alive / loot up / and most importantly of all. Actually learn to play the bloody game. Even staying in a low pop. Server eventually someone runs into you and kills you.
