Dubsmoker, as i have explained somewhere on the start of this topic... if you agree not to shot back even if you are shot, i have no problem at all. it will not be easy to sync due to time difference but at least in weekends we can try. For example i would really really love to go sometimes with irish but not now for me. And most probably i will get him killed also unless i learn his tactical approach and all that. We were both military but coming from totally different schools :) That has nothing to do with others shooting people! Everybody should keep playing this game the way they like since they paid for it. The stress level of being shot (or not) it's a key succes factor of this game. I am just hoping that this game will offer more for an old man that usually does not play at all. Not computer games anyway...

And one from me on EXP server. Being somehow geared and most of them pristine i've got a 4 zombie group love... i was hit twice and i have noticed that my ammo box with all in it was gone (like gone, not ruined) and backpack changed from pristine to badly damaged. anyone with the same experience or was just a glitch?

ok, step by step...i have found unnamed cities :) - omgwtfbbq: still have to find containers on HC because i was shot yesterday and started over - irish: this evening/night i will be available. i have the damn acog on HC and it is good for me :) i have 2 RDS optics on regular so you will have one. - Meenos: just IV kits and blood bags. no idea how can i get the actual blood without forcing someone... - Jorge_Assad: you forgot to mention where you need it... one other thing i am curious what you people think. yesterday i was watching a hot area. a group of 3 people was ambushed by another 2. the attackers were better geared. the group of 3 died quite fast and one from the attackers. the only one alive was bleeding but bandaged himself. once he finished he started to go to loot his friend and (probably) the other 3 dead bodies. I started to shot around him in short bursts, while i was still hidden. he ran away in zig-zags trying to find me. one of my bullets hit him. i did not wanted to shot him at all but his erratic movements and my super computer made me do it. after he was shot he got to cover and after a while he ran away from the battle ground. Now, here comes my question...i have broken my own "code" ?Not to shoot anyone i mean? I wanted to scare him so i can loot the dead bodies, i admit that, but i still was the first one who opened fire. i did that because of his friend gear to be honest :( anyway, i have found some nice things on his friend and not so much on others. in less than 5 minutes i've had to run because i was also shot at... later edit: i think DayZ goes from strictly survival to better and better gear, for experienced players at least. while we started running for food and watter we end up in wanting more and more good/rare things. somehow like in real life i think...still have not figured how good this is.

actually i do interact. a lot. it is sad truth that most of the time interaction ends with me being killed or at least shot at several times. but is not always like that. lately i am making friends (although i am always traveling alone). irish is one of them. in short words this game can offer you whatever kind of interaction you want. just be realistic and don't expect to end up every time like you want it. most of the times will be totally opposite... and i have one simple idea (feel free to trash it to death) is that most of the koS (unintentional i mean) are because all the damn players on this game are running with their primary drawn! WTF...? i never walk with a weapon and not even with the axe unless the zeds are getting their love towards me... but that is just my idea...

all the maps i've found, and i've had them all, were found in gas stations.

i have rice and 3 yellow cases on regular but at least 2 of them i have to keep because of the space they save. the suppressor is on HC though. will get one on regular too. i will take the compensator when we meet first time. i can give you a good RDS1 in regular. one question for you people: if i have a pristine ballistic helmet on backpack/vest and one pristine helmet on the head, will protect me better than just having only the one in the backpack/vest? i mean the one in the backpack protects you from all shots or just from the body shots while a head shot will kill me if i don't have one on the head as well? @omgwtfbbq: i have enough challenges for now. but thank you, you are very kind. very.

i am on a populated server (regular) so you might better tell me fast where you want me to come because i am very close to NWAF and things tend to get messy here fast. edit: both stock and bipod are pristine as you asked :) funny moment of today: i was after a wall trying to decide if i am going to stick my head out or not (military corner of AF) while i was thinking i said: what the hell, let's stay here 10 minutes. nobody waits that long... and no more than 30 seconds later ... exactly on my ear.. somebody started to eat. being on HC at that moment i could not look over the fence to see in which direction is better for me to dissapear. So i took a chance and i literally screamed "hands up" on the mic while i was turning over the fence...with the axe on my hands. Surprise... he did. He said he was one of the worse meal in his life. i asked if he agrees not to shoot me because i have a delivery to make, i showed him i am armed and not with only one :) he asked what "delivery" means. I've explained briefly, he said i am no sane, laughed, but we both lived to tell the story. lol. it was fun though :)) especially that i found there a .45 mag for irish P.S. he was french.

me too. hit / just once but i have to hit it every single time when i want to write. i also have been able to read all that Lizard wrote to me... Irish, i have that magpul stock, magpul handguard and the damn bipod.... i just have to keep the damn dot because i've had a revelation. it's easier on the zeds with m4 because it's less noise. i would appreciate if someone finds me an working acog though... i've had 3 by now and throw all of them because of missing slots, me never using an m4 that is...

Have found the damn suppressor for irish but i've lost an ammo box with 5 x .45 boxes also for him. 3 guys team shot me 5 times and i am still alive. But the ballistic helmet + ammo box disappeared from my backpack after this ... never knew the ballistic helmet protects me until irish explained to me. too bad it takes 4 slots from the back pack. i have also found the RDS optic for M4 and i found killing zombies with m4 is not that bad :) i mean is not attracting them from such a huge distance like Mosin does.

To the OP: I respect any single style of game. I never killed anyone in 150h (as today) and i will never will. i only killed a guy with broken legs so he can respawn faster but was on his request. i think all kind of play styles and approaching of this game is good. No matter what. I think you are confusing a bit the bandits with KoS people but that's not a real issue. I, same as you, have found my way in a position to decide what i want to do. I got shot so many times (a few times because people got scared; (me being fully geared for the obvious reason if you read that link) but it does not matter. I never felt powerless or week, i did felt sorry for some of them, meaning those that kill because they are bored. Also understandable though... but i prefer to die for something than for nothing.. no biggie, moving on. At this moment all i can is to wish you all my best and take most from this game. The important thing is that you should be happy, you paid for this. Play it the way it makes you happy, because in real life we live just once... Congrats and beans to you, Sir.
