Combat logging is pathetic. It has nothing to do with survival and trying to stay alive. Surviving an ambush or a gun fight by out smarting and out playing your opponent is surviving. Not running into a building and clicking a button in a corner. It's your fault you were in a bad situation, if you die oh well don't make the same mistake but don't take the easy way out in a game thats supposed to be hardcore by pressing logout.

Apparently the first vehicle they are working on is finished. Dean said that barricading is going to be tricky since it needs to function correctly. He doesn't want people finding a barricaded place that they can get into so then they just hop on a different server and log out in the building that had the barricades on the other server then hop back on the one with the barricades so they are just inside. -

They are 11 or so months into a 3 year development. Beta I would assume would happen sometime next year but you don't really add things in beta you fix things. For wanted features though i'd say we will have most of the core things in fairly soon. I believe they that the first implementation of vehicles will be in the next experimental build but i could just be retarted so don't take my word for it. We already have alot of the core things though, we have hunting, the start of persistence, the start of the weather effects, fishing, zombies are getting there. Really the only thing the mod has that SA doesn't is vehicles and building/barricading but vehicles will be here soon and barricading will follow them. -
With the few numbers we have of them currently I don't think anyone is really afraid of them. However they are apparently planning on have thousands per server so imagine a few hundred chasing you through cherno and they surround you extremely easily since they are so fast. Thats something I would be afraid of, but I would rather have slower, undead ones honestly.

Rocket saying they are infected on multiple occasions begs to differ, not to mention this isn't the mod.

The "zombies" in DayZ aren't actually zombies. They are infected with a rage type virus like from 28 days/weeks later. They aren't rotting corpses

I don't necessarily think ballistic protection should really be added to the riot visor and if it does only protect against small rounds like .22 or maybe 9mm, but if they added <<<this version it should have quite a bit

I haven't noticed a speed decrease while wearing them but i think it's really dumb that the ballistic helmet provides more protection and face protection to boot. Theres no visor option for the ballistic helmet so why on earth would it protect you more from a face shot. I really hope they add the metal combat visor down the road so that the gorka E helmet plus the metal combat mask offers the most protection but possibly a loss in some vision since it covers so much of your face and leaves a slit to look through.

Out of the 3 barracks at Balota without server hopping i found an AKM, a full drum mag an 3 ak 101's bu not mags other than the drum. I have found crap tons of 7.62x54 and 5.56 but barely any 7.62x39. Ammo for the 101 is really common as well as the guns but the mags seem really rare.

It's not that big of an advantage lol, it's really dumb that something that should arguably be more common than the vests we have now that spawn literally everywhere everywhere, is so rare. They should stick something else in the heli spawns thats rare instead of something that should be extremely common.

They really should just make it spawn in barracks and jails. I'm all for the dynamic loot spawns and what not but when it's already extremely hard to find a helicopter that spawns it, then the spawn chance for the actual vest is so low that a total of 3 people in the entire game have found it they need to up either the spawn chance or add it to the military spawns. Here guys test this item that is impossible to find.

Just a quick few suggestions in regards to the new helmet. Being one of if not my favourite helmet used by armed forces I was extremely excited when I saw that it was being added in. However I have a few complaints. First off the visor, not a huge fan of the riot version but i'm sure there are other people that do like it. What I am suggesting in regards to the visor is in addition to the riot version, they also add the metal version of the visor as well as the ability to raise and lower the visors after they have been put on the helmet. Also have the metal version give more protection compared to the riot version but due to the metal one having a relatively small viewing slit, give it some sort of vision restriction such as when you close your visor in a game like War of the Roses like the pictures below. This would give the added protection at the cost of some of your vision which i feel could add something to the game, having to decide if you want the added protection or the visibility and what not. Visor up, no added protection to the face Visor down, added protection to the face but lower visibility For Referance to the helmet we ave in game incase anyone doesnt know what it and the visor we currently have looks like And here is an example of the metal visor that can be attached that i'm proposing that would add more protection but less visibility. or this

IMO they should have the same spawn as the other vests seeing how they are used frequently in Russia and what not.

First life, unfortunately dead now thanks to some one who shot me in the back after we agreed to go in the opposite direction(my mistake I know) in about an hour and a half I had full gorka, MASKA helmet along with a gas mask, a balaclava, hunting back pack, kitted akm with 2 mags, mosin with PU and LRS, bunch of rice, 3 canteens and a bunch of med supplies and plenty of extra ammo for both guns. This isnt even mention the other crap ton of gear i found that I switched for what I had when I died. This was all from 1 server just looting from elektro where I spawned and ended up at balota. If anything i find loot to be more common, my second post patch character is already fairly geared with only about 30 mins on him. -

Funny in my 150+hours only around 5 of those are pvp. There are plenty of things to do then run around mindlessly shooting anything that moves.
