They would need to add a new gasmask if they added anything other than tear gas. The m10m is from the 60's so not only is it horribly below current standards but it is all but discontinued and being mainly a surplus item used for riots if at all. Good luck finding a filter that fits it that is NBC rated and not expired. However I would love for gasmasks to have an actual function, weather it was from tear gas, smoke, airborne disease etc. I wouldn't mind at all though if there were 1 or 2 places that had some radiation where a suit and mask would be needed. -
Depends on your playstyle really. If you are primarily a sniper that uses the mosin then the mp5k is a fantastic side arm however the ak-74u which was just released is by far better than the mp5k in just about every aspect and fits in your inventory as well. If you aren't a sniper then akm is a better choice due to it's versatility.

Whats dumb is the specific gasmask and ballistic helmets we have ingame are able to be worn together irl, granted not as well some masks like the m40 but it's still possible.

The only reason I don't play in 1p more is because it feels so damn claustrophobic. Cranking up the FOV only makes your gun look farther away and doesn't even remotely alleviate the claustrophobic feeling, which it should. Thats not even mentioning the host of other problems 1p in arma based games have that previous posts have listed. -

I would use the walkies but I've never gotten a response or heard anything even on full servers. They could add global chat but make it to were the only way you can use it is if you acquire some sort of satellite device like a phone or something idk. I wouldn't mind something like that because it still requires you to have to go out and find it. -

The SMERSH spawn rate still seems broken which is a shame. They really should just move the UK vests to the blackhawks and put SMERSH in their place. -

The AS Val would be a very good higher tier gun to add. The ammo could be fairly rare since not many gun use the specific ammo. Offset the low ammo with the really good accuracy out to 400m, high damage round designed for penetrating body armor, extremely silent and the ability to go full auto if the need arises. It would fit the role of a stealthy mid range gun better than just about anything. Must have IMO -

Except shooting a fuel tank will just poke holes in it causing it to leak. Theres not enough oxygen in fuel tanks to cause explosions of any kind. -

If they could somehow implement the ballistics model from arma 3 I would be happy, to my knowledge as long as the calibre is large enough you can punch through cars and what not as well as certain buildings. Heres some examples of said ballistics, Red is max velocity then green is lower and so on, white is non lethal. I didn't bother including the 50.cal because it went clean through with almost no slow down so didn't really feel it was necessary, only part of the truck that stopped it was the engine block but it destroyed it. 7.62x51 7.62 5.56 .45 9mm -

All of the gear looks very practical in the Metro games as well and you have a nice mix of civilian like with bandits and people like Khan then the more military look like you see with the Spartans, Reds and Reich then a nice combination of civilian and military with things like stalkers or scouts. Another game I would like to see some armour and clothing from or at least similar to it is the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. -

I would do just about anything for either of these, they would fill the role of the eastern block spec-ops sort of weapon nicely -
I would be open to it for the express purpose of it being a way to transmit illnesses like contaminating water and so on. Also theres the dehydration part of the runs that you could get from sicknesses, bad food ect. So for things like ya I wouldn't mind but if I had to pop a squat every 30 mins and shit in a bush because i had some beans then no

A very large portion of the "pvp" players just spam shoot in the general direction of anything that moves. That is mindless -
I may be wrong on this but I believe they said that the first implementation of them will come with the next experimental build. They said the truck is pretty much done so I could see them soon.

I wouldn't really consider that combat logging, your getting a fair distance away and not just running into a room and closing the door.

Well until something like that is in place combat logging will continue to be a pathetic cop out by people who don't bother being careful or don't want to deal with a core part of the game.

Server hopping won't be stopped since Dean wants us to go to go to different servers and fight over parts for vehicles and what not then take them back to our home servers. I believe he said something about wanting some sort of buffer zone where if you try to log into a place where theres barricade you will be teleported out of the buffer zone or something along those lines which I would be fine with.
