Generalizations is never the answer. You think zombies are fine? Good, OP thinks they are not. Different opinions. Also, if anything they made the zombies worse. They just implemented more of them. a "survival HORROR sim"? Please tell me where the "horror" is in all this?? Survival horror is a term as overused in gaming as the AK47 is as a gun.

:beans: because St. Jimmy Also, I haven't tried it myself so I'm not really in a position to speak but I read somewhere that mouse smoothing is a negative acceleration? So for instance if you move your mouse fast it will slow down your movement? It would also make you aim/move less accurate?

STORY TIME! :) So I changed to a french server yesterday, with high pop about 38/40 I think, and I was heading towards NW Airfield...Since the server was so highly populated and NW Airfield is generally seen as a deathmatch area I was moving very cautiously towards it... Only to find that there is NOBODY there. I spent half an hour at the airfield, and the only people I saw were zambies. What's even worse is that I didn't hear a single gunshot from anywhere. I even fired a few myself, in a suicidal moment, but still NOTHING. I mean, how is this possible? I thought the Airfields were the most targeted places to go for players, especially the NW one. Did everybody suddenly move to Elektro and the military base near Pavlovo? :huh: Admin, please don't bury this :(

I know this post isn't adressed to me but isn't this forum actually the one place where you can share your thoughts and post your criticism,? Sure, it doesn't have to be something like a rant or just whining but everyone has their different gameplay style and if it's disturbed by some patch they can complain right? If the next patch would be that KOS would be a bannable offense I think players can & should share their views on that. Also, ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA. Because it's not like that word has been used about 1,236,698 times on this forum <_< EDIT: for teh lulz

Oh god here we go again with the "it's an opinion so it can't be wrong" type of thing. Of course you can have other opinions & share them, that's even indispensable & respect is good, but I'm just too tired of these kind of people acting like they know everything in DayZ and how it should be played <_< Not specifically referring to anyone as it was not meant as a generalisation but I can't put "some of you" before every sentence I make. Hope you can understand that

To people thinking the zombies are fine in their current state, that's fine, good for you. To me they're enormously annoying now, and I pretty much agree with what the OP says. Whenever you kill a zombie there just spawns another one on the exact spot the other zombie stood when you killed him. You can even see them respawning, which totally ruins the atmosphere of the game. Plus, they are faster now than Usain Bolt (makes a lot of sense that half-dead people run faster than healthy ones doesn't it?) and lunge at you like jaguars and make you bleed like a pig whenever they scratch you. There is so much wrong with zombies atm that I'd actually like zombies to just dissapear from the game (in their current state) :( . I'm 100% for zombies but it gets really annoying when you sit in a town and try to drink from a well and you have to pull out your axe every 5 seconds <_<. And I know what some of you are thinking like "oh you're just a n00b who can't handle zombies lolol" well, no. They're even too easy to kill atm, My suggestion would be even more zombies or make them stronger & make them slower and let them hunt in hordes to give them more of a zombie-feel and not just make them look like sprinting ugly psychopaths. (But of course my criticism is irrelevant since this is an ALPHHAAAAAA <_<) Also, love the amount of wannabe-DayZ-elitists on here trying to tell others how to play the game & saying like "uuhh go play Arma if you want pvp". First of all, It's a fucking SANDBOX game, there are no rules for how anyone should play the game other than no hacking/cheating. Secondly, the game is called a Zombie Survival Horror (lolwut?) Game, but I think we can all agree that PvP is the only real threat in this Alpha, so it's kinda obvious people want to do that.

That's bs, if players want to express criticism on a certain playstyle I think they are in their full right to do so, especially in a game that's in such an early build. But it's really the community who's being a bitch about this & not necessarily the admins, whenever there's a post about anti-KOS, or even certain game-mechanics the OP's get bombarded with posts like "QQ" & "ITS ALPHAAA!1!1!11!" Of course there are threads which are completely pointless & whining and I'm not talking about those but about the constructive & serious ones. And no I've not seen a single post about "anti-friendly" but you can go make one if you'd like.

Why would you need to be original? I only choose my clothes/equipment for the sole purpose of survival, which means as most camo as possible :P Looking stylish or original will mean nothing for bandits/KOS'ers, I'd rather be fully camouflaged & equipped than wearing some fancy clothes for the sole purpose of originality :ph34r:

I like how when the OP is in favour of KOS nobody gives a fuck but if OP made a thread that was anti-KOS a lot of people would be like "QQ" and it would probably be locked & sent to graveyard by now :) From what I've seen in this thread & out in the forums so far people from both sides think they're right and they hold the only truth. "Skilled players don't KOS" "KOS is part of game don't QQ" How about you step off from that pedestal of yours and maybe think that what's your opinion isn't necessarily 100% right? I don't believe this KOS thing is to be seen as being black & white although it really looks like it, both 'sides' have good arguments as long as they can keep it mature and leave out the "Oh only nubs (don't) KOS" which is just plain retarded... Edit: Felt like it.

Yeah, I managed to find it in the DevTracker forum. Here it is, looks almost like an exact copy from the one from CoD:WaW but they can't really make the pistol look any different than its real life counterpart xp Only thing I don't get is why they'd put it in the SA since it's a pistol used by the Germans in WW2? :huh: I'm guessing they're referring to that setting, they ended up in Chernarussia by Germans invading Soviet-Union in WW2...I really don't know why the dev team wants to implement so many WW2 weaponry tough. And if they're gonna implement German guns from that era, I'd rather have another primary: A Modded Kar98K or even an STG-44 :)
