They aren't gonna fix anything, or else they wouldn't need a wipe. Character wipe (which is good) will only clear infinite m4 mags that some people in this forum are using constantly and do not know how to play without them. However, it is still sad for people to lose their legit m4 aquired through heli crashes or by killing a guy who had it etc. But since there are at least 2 known ways of duping, I doubt it is gonna be fixed. If it is, amazing grace to devs, if not (and judging how they "fixed" infinite mag before) then well, people will continue playing as before.

It isn't overshooting. If you looked my test with AK101 I had to aim equally higher to hit the target. it is the same with a MOSIN. A MOSIN. Do you want to tell me that sks ammo travel exclusively different trajectory, but mosin and m4 ammo travel the same? The distance is 860 meters, the zeroing is 800. Git gud, outlock. You are embarrassing yourself. The fact that you tested at pussy 600 meters shows how afraid you are to be proved wrong. Do you even leave the coast? Find a place with at least 800 meters and replicate the test, then you can talk. As of now, my assertion has been proven. Ak101 is more accurate than AKM.

From your video it isn't even clear what the distance is and you want to say I am aiming improperly, kid? What else will you find? My black high capacity vest was a major influence on the shots? It is the last effective range of AKM, but from my experience I don't even see shots usually past 500 meters. Next time use at least 800 to prove me wrong. You either never played the game or just surprisingly never used m4 or ak101. I constantly kill people with just one bullet from 5.56 (aka headshots) so to say it's just a "tickle" shows how much git gud you need in your life. Of course it is hard to find a fully geared person that would stand still for me at the distance of 800 meters so I can shoot him. But with AKM your bullets wont even travel this far, they fly god knows where but not where you aim. it takes 4 mosin shots to blow up a gas station but only 3 5.56 rounds of m4 to do the same. Is mosin just a tickle? Oh wait, you said m4 rounds are a tickle. Accurate shots from m4 are as deadly as from any other weapons, only people spraying and praying miss every shot then complain how their gun is innacurate and only "tickles" people. Anyway, this thread (I am repeating 10th time) isn't about amount of damage or preferences, it is about how accurate a gun is. Be on topic.

I don't talk about preferences here, if you haven't noticed. All this debate was about accuracy comparison between AK101 and AKM. I think m4 with magpull parts is better, so what? It is still almost impossible to hit a stationary target passed 600 meters with m4. 800 would be total hardcore. While with AK101 I can shoot a zombie with mere 6 tries at 900 meters. Why 6? Because thanks to magnificent DayZ engine, hits sometimes doesn't register on zombies, or if they do, they aren't shown, or if they are shown, zombies don't die instantly and disappear only after a while so it is hard to tell you missed or not.

What distance have you tested? Why haven't you responded to the fact that there was a VIDEO which was made even before 48 patch showing how SHIT AKM is and how accurate Ak101 is?

Ok then, seems plausible. Still why no screenshots of smersh vest, have no idea. Where are exactly other two heli crash sites? I know Kumyna, a burned down church and some other buildings in there but haven't seen a heli crash there and I trave through this place a lot, is it really the place? Also where in balota is static heli crash site?

Well then, RAK is in but deadly rare (also why nobody can find a magazine for it and what calliber it uses at all?) But I would like to see a smersh vest by a user. So far no screenshots been posted so it is not spawning. God, I even find now mosins and blaze rifles in a damn baracks. Unlooted, fresh, server after restart. If loot table isn't broken then I am moses.

Then why nobody posted a screenshot of proof? I saw only in this website http://www.dayztv.com/pic/dayz-0-48-smersh-vest-confirmed-found-on-crashsite/ but never by normal people boasting "look what I found". So where's the proof? P.S. The comment bellow explains it all: "The lead art dev confirmed in a video that they are currently not spawning. They will patch the spawning in the next stable update." I have a suspicion it is not a lie. So no vest. Not sure about RAK.

As far as I know smersh vest isn't even in a game right now, only backpack.

loot table looks to be fucked up.. I found TWO blaze guns on a crane in berezino. Also various houses now spawn weapons too. Some items are made more rare than others.

Jut logged today into your server and someone killed me in Berezino... never again :/

If you tested them, you would have told a distance and what exactly you tested. Now it seems you are simply mad at me that your beloved AKM is proved to be shit gun. I know that I should have recorded my tests, I think I will do it next time I aquire shitty AKM. For now I just want people to try themselves.. and yet again you appeal to mysterious game files... if instead of copy pasting other peoples ideas you tried to play the game, you would know what I mean. There are models of weapons in game files that aren't even in a game. Does that make those weapons TRUE? Hey, I will go look for a gun that is in game files but doesn't exist in a game, ok? There even was a VIDEO posted here which proved that before the 48 patch ak101 was much much better than AKM in terms of accuracy and recoil, yet you somehow missed it... Now devs improved both weapons, but the difference left the same.

If people spent at least half of the time testing weapons in game instead of trying to argue on forums they'd quickly learn what I meant when I said that Ak101 is "x more times accurate" than AKM. It just shows how many amateurs post on these forums pretending to know everything. nobody said about flying bullets anything.
