This thread was meant to be a joke. However, what isn't funny is that hacking is still so prevalent in this game. The only option to slightly avoid hackers is not to go to Berezino and East coast altogether, but I am still amazed of incompetence of dev team to at least address the issue and look for problems openly (notifying people when they are able to ban cheaters etc). Duping was used by hackers and by legit players, who duped exclusively so that they could regear with minimum effort after being killed by cheating people. There are obvious hackers, who teleport or use speedhack, and there are ESP hackers, when they know at 1km distance where every player is, their names in game and all weapons they have. So the wipe and dupe fixing won't affect cheaters (hackers) at all. They still can shoot you through walls, walk through walls, see through walls and fly/teleport (depending on the hack used of course) and kill you and take your stuff that you now can not dupe back, and you are left with nothing. 49 patch isn't something we should be praising. It will only encourage more people to buy/rent hacks and use them to their advantage. Because BE and VAC doesn't ban for that shit at all.

Once they intorduced it, I played for like 3-4 days with that shit and then dropped because it was useless even against zombies. Reload lasts 30 minutes. I'd rather use my fists than a crossbow.

Just finished playing on a 49 server. It was pretty great. Vehicles, planes, loot respawning, zombies no longer clip through walls and melee works perfectly fine now. Hope it will get pushed to stable.

Toon wipe is great but I really really doubt it will come this month, let alone, this wednesday. If the make some hotfixes and include them in patch 49, they are gonna test it on exp branch first... but last time they rushed their update so much that they skipped exp altogether and pushed to stable on the same day. So there is tiny tiny chance that the wipe will come after 5 days, but I don't hold my breath. Imagine what will happen, everyone is a freshie, everyone serverhoping NWAF 24/7 even in full servers. Madness. Madness.

Only noobs use hip fire, especially at ranges beyond 10 meters. Of course sometimes there is no time to aim properly, but usually I noticed only people in babycore servers shoot like that, and they miss all the time, because they use it at bigger distances. If an enemy is in my face, there is no point to not use hip fire so to speak.

When people try to combine dupers and hackers on the same level it is like when people claim pot smokers and rapists are both violent criminals too... It just doesn't compute.

well if they move Balota to somewhere else then we can expect Electro and all South coast spawns coming back. I think it was amazing that Berezino is a cheater clusterfuck, it contained them in one place so that users who don't want to deal with these cheating (mostly american and russian) kids coulds have normal PVP all across the map. Now the cheaters may travel a little bit more, and noticing a ESP hacker is much harder than someone who can teleport.

I think OP is right. It is not fair that m4 has 60 round stanag and sks has only 10 bullets max. If I am fighting with a guy who has m4 and I only sks of course he's gonna win, then what's the point in fighting. Devs should make only 10rnd magazines for m4 possible. That's how I see it... Don't upboat.

FRAPS is good for higher quality videos but they would take up several gigs for a few minutes of video. Use OBS instead.

A patch is a patch, it doesn't matter what's in it. I personally do not want new useless guns (cr527 or AKM) and want some game breaking bugs being fixed.

They want to people to trade parts, not serverhop. Of course, best intentions lead to worst consequences. Look at politics. Universal healthcare, yet it will become a burden to people, will become more costly and inefficient.
