The game is already to easy for noobs. It isn't some kind of family simulator, it is supposed to be hard, the market is filled with easy games where even people with down syndrome can easily play and not die. DayZ isn't such game, from the very beginning developers said it is hardcore game. Fiding food is too easy. The biggest problem is that all these noobs fill their inventory with useless fruits and vegetables and do not look for real food, like beans, rice, spaghetti or powdered milk. Even damn pipsi cola is many times better than a shitty fruit. Instead of spending time picking up a damn fruit from a ground spend that time looking for normal food, maybe then you won't die. Fruits and vegetables has very little caloric value. It is practically non-existent. Look for food values http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Food_and_Drink and stop picking up damn fruits.

Everything is fine. OP and his ilk just need to get good. If you have less than 200-300 hours of course you gonna make poor choices and will die a lot, either because of starvation (it is not your priority and you just want guns) or because you serverhop carelessly and die to other serverhoppers. Unless you hop into full server and try to loot already looted city for food there is no way you can die from hunger or thirst. I noticed many people do not even look for food until it's too late. They all go instantly PVP deathmatch and then beg their friends "pls gimme food I'm starving". Let them die, If they do not learn and want to make DayZ into CoD it is their own problem. When I play with such friends I do not give them food at all out of principles. I say go loot, whole city is yours. So OP, if you have problem, either go to places were nobody goes anymore or just loot in empty servers. There is no other ways of getting food beside killing someone who has it.

I'd say probably 2017 or early 2018. They will have to spend another year fixing no cliping zombies who hit you on the ground level while you above and such... Also firetation death floors should take at least another half of year of fixing. So yeah, I am realistic.

If you don't have at least 2 splints on you all time, you are either new to dayz or just not very smart. When I spawn, my number one objective is to get rags and a splint (along with getting food), only then I think about looting for weapons.

People who post about hacking here are usually newbies or lurking around and don't read these threads so it is totally waste of time.

My two tents disappeared too, but I can not write off the tiny tiny possiblity that someone has found them. However, items in persistent servers disappear in backpacks simply by LOOKING at them. I have several backpacks filled with loot. I move some items around in that backpack and some of them disappear. They sometimes disappear when I log in next day or later that day, sometimes, as I said, you can just pick one item from a backpack and some items from that backpack will disappear instantly. Happened with mosin ammo, rice, animal pelt and knife. It is obvious that persistent servers are highly unstable if loot disappears not just from server restart, but by itself, after several seconds. I had three tents, only one left (untouched, no items disappeared) so I just dispatched it and dropped all things somewhere else.

No, this is why we DO NOT need it. This is the BEST thing developers introduced in a game since forver. I love this. I love it I love it I love it. I already been stuck in police station room and had to die from starvation. But that is a stupid bug. This is not a bug. This is intentional, a big middle finger to all DayZ fanboys licking dev asses. Here, a secret bunker, check it out, kids. OOPS. No loot? Can't get out? Too bad for trusting us. Maybe next time.

Commie blocks. Search every room, since I found out that they spawn not only on roofs or balcony, but inside the room too.

So I accidentally found a magic server. After each restart loot doubles in it. 2 times than in regular servers, then for 4 times more loot than in regular servers, then 8 times (and then crashes). In one place you find 8 identical items. If it is AKM, you will find 8. If it is drum mag - 8 drum mags, if mosin ammo - 8 boxes. I guess it is some weird glitch? However, after a day, I joined it again, and this glitch seems to be repeating everytime, so not sure if someone intentionally does that or not.

I am not totally sure, so don't take my words as a fact on this. For example, I put a gorka jacket into smersh backpack and that backpack into bigger backpack which was placed on a persistent server. It survived several restarts for a week. Checked out today, and the jacket was gone. Also, sometimes scopes disappear from mosins too if you put them simply on the ground. I had 6 mosins all with compensators and scopes for a day or so. After restart one scope from a mosin was gone. If you want to know how I found so many mosins, I found them on a server with 8 times more loot. It seems to be kinda random, but I am fairly certain, that all clothes/vests put on persistent servers will disappear. I havent tried putting vests in tents though since I value vests too much to afford to lose them. But if you noticed yourself that one vest was gone, there is a high chance that others may disappear too eventually. P.S. smersh vest with backpack attached seems to work as a backpack and backpacks do not disappear from tents or whatsoever.

I expect first vehicle model be put on 50 patch.

I have been testing tents for a past week myself. My findings are: Clothes, vests will always disappear. If you put a scope on a mosin and put mosin in a tent, the scope will disappear. Guns and ammo are persistent. Backpacks with items inside them are too. You actually do not need a tent, you can put all your stuff in a backpack (like ammo, mags, food etc.) and it will stay after restart. I already have an armory of several mosins, several AKMs and several101's. You just drop a gun in a persistent server and it will stay there. Much easier than looking for tents then trying to hide it etc.

Because I do not believe in reports. I have let the mod know the server name and IP. The thing is, I suspect the server is used by one cheater group (mostly kids), they all have each other in their friend lists (thanks to my pet detective skills). Also they spend a lot of time duping items with tents and other ways (which I already submitted, but don't think it will be fixed in 50 patch).

Oh look, another children clan with 12 year olds running in 35 slot big ass backpacks, duct tapes and cleaning kits in their inventory.

My guess was also that it is somehow related to persistence. But I am not sure, hadn't had time to test persistence on that server and the server name doesn't indicate it at all. I have been hearing about such servers some time ago, but never found them.

It has no difference. Even ruined scopes work just fine (speaking about LRS).

Fleshbangs are more frequent than damn 101 magazines. I threw away tons of these because they are quite useless. 80 percent of the time they do not blow up. So there is absolutely no indication the enemy was blinded or not. I'd go as far as to say they are as useless as duct tapes and weapon cleaning kits.

I can confirm. You can even drop weapons, they won't disappear after restart. Just remember, clothes randomly disappear from backpacks, especially when there are items in them, same with tents. Not sure if it is related or a bug or something. Also, sometimes server won't load (or you wont be able to see) your backpack that you put in there (happened to me once) so you have to log out and join the server again.

Akm mags are much more frequent than AK101 mags, I noticed it myself. I found like 4-6 of 101 mags in couple of weeks. Even drum mags are not as rare as ak101 mags.But it's good. Better weapon, more rarity.
