That's the fun of it. DayZ has only two modes, in my opinion: 1) Berezino (or NEAF) warfare with a bunch of freshies and hackers with infinite ammo. 2) Camping one spot for days and killing people who serverhop airfields.

I am all the way in another side of the map, like 15km away. Try to climb on top of same lighthouse dude. I think you can still climb with broken legs. Or ask a zombie for help, just shoot few rounds and they will come.

Back in my days Komarovo used to mean something. It was a frequent spawn point. Like little Elektro. I remember I never travelled farther than commie blocks. The map seemed so big.

Sticks aren't rare. Problem is most people are shitters with their 3pp lack of skills and don't look at places where sticks spawn with 50 percent probability. Small 4 square meter sheds. Also supermarkets and pubs. Morphine is rare, not sticks.

I am not talking just about autorun, but burst fire script mentioned in this thread (oh it doesn't apply to mosin so it's ok yada yada yada) and other things. I remember in good old counterstrike 1.6 people being banned for using norecoil scripts, so why DayZ should be an exception? Furthermore if you let people use scripts like autorun, then there will appear soon people with other kinds of scripts and "shortcuts", like quicker way of changing FOV, gamma etc. Abusing glitches and bugs is one thing, but installing something on purpose is cheating. And it has nothing to do with people having dual or triple monitors or 7.1 sound systems, which is just an equipment, like having a better video card and processor for higher FPS.

I learned from other people stories, never surrender to children squads or just armed people who role-play policemen. I pretend friendly (if I am at disadvantage) and then shoot them in the backs. Always. One time I spawned close to Titanic, found a FNX, didn't have more room in my pants so had to keep it in my hands and carried all the way to berezino being chased by 4 zombies. In police car I was lucky to find a FNX magazine, I loaded my pistol and entered police station (obviously looted). When I was in second floor I heard footsteps in first floor and childish faggy voice "surrender we need to check you". I knew they aren't gonna let me keep my fnx and will shoot after "checking". So I just threw away everything from my pants and put the pistol there and said "please don't shoot, I'm starving, please open beans". They were 3 amateur squad (only 2 had guns), and were so bad and careless that I had a tactical advantage and decided to kill them all while one of them was busy opening my cans. I killed one instantly, shot at another one who was armed too, I injured him and he ran away behind corner, I then took time to do a control shot to his friend's head and eventually the second guy showed up from the corner and shot me. At least I made them busy even though they weren't fully geared, just children with m4 and mosin.

just because it isn't GTA and you can not see your character all the time doesnt mean it is clunky and unrealistic. 3rd person is unrealistic because it is basically having a wallhack. Stop trollling, no one buys your shit here. If you want to see your toon all the time, go play GTA and Sim City or warcraft or whatever. DayZ was always about hardcore survival, not cheating pusymode 3pp. If people like you played at least 10 hours in hardcore they'd realize that 3pp is clunkier than 1pp. I never switch to 3rd person even in regular servers, because it is just awkward and blocks actually my field of view in some situations. Also looting in 3pp is horrible. Get your facts straight, baby.

bandits aren't the problem, serverhoppers and combat loggers aren't the problem. The problem is cheaters, who run x3 or x15 times faster than you and can teleport in front of you. This is the problem. Saying bandits ruin this game is like saying zombies are unnecessary and should have been left intact (aka, one hit from axe, one kill). Those people do not deserve and do not understand the game. They come from games like GTA V and CowADooty and think it should be the same.

I noticed a few clan servers with password too. I mean, sometimes they are free, you can join loot etc, and after an hour an admin joins, kicks everyone and locks the server (puts a password). It was a german server, by the way. And since there are huge money involved in server hosting, providers will NEVER react to complains. It is against their interests. Who cares that some guy can not join the server because it is "DONT JOIN = KICK Char DELETE", they already sold it to a noob admin and got his money. Why should they care?

Maybe he had a jetpack and flew into the air? Just because you were outsmarted by more skilled player doesn't mean he was hacking.

They should introduce children aswell. I'd play as a 5-6 year old child. Would evade bullets like Captain America

What we had with Elektro, now we have with Berezino. Shitters everywhere. The good way to stop it is to make it almost impossible for people to suicide after they abused it two times. Like, if you spawn in Solnychnyi and go climb a tower, jump off and spawn in Svetlo, then again climb hospital roof, jump off, you should then geat a 10 minute spawn timer (or maybe 30 minute). This would solve a problem of people running back to their gear, friends whatever. Actually, I am all for disablng fall damage for 10 minutes to freshly spawned players. Something has to be done and randomizing spawn points only make people suicide even more with desire to get back Berezino spawn. so if it's a problem for your children clan then you don't want this? It is not CS or cowadooty, you die, you die. Play with rest of your dumb clan. Dammit I hate people like you wanting to destroy the immersion of the game by making it a huge PvP arena for clans. If you fucked up killing bambis in berezino, it is your problem, you spawned in North and now can run 30 minutes back. For other people who are not shitters, it is not a problem.
