The dot should be removed just like all this 3rd person madness. DayZ should be as immersive as possible and having 270 degree vision isn't very good for such game. There are shitters already complaining about the next patch which will wipe one of their primary weapons (if they have two, one in hands, one on back). Such people are whining that they will stop playing DayZ and I am happy for that. Less dumb kids, less KOS, less hackers (probably). So that's a good start. Remove ability to log out with two primaries, remove dot sight, remove 3pp shitter mode. Community will only thank. And most people will adapt.

mfw DayZ on a full release day will be cheaper than alpha version.... And I am being serious. If it wants to compete against similar genre games it will have to cost 9.99 dollars on a release day. Mark my words.

Well I usually carry 4 sidearms, sawed-off, fnx with 3 magazines, amphibia with 3 magazines and revolver. Also I have mosin on the back and m4 in my hands with acog/RDS. I try to keep it simple and have as little loot on me as possible, I don't know about others though.

It doesn't work 4/10 times. I killed many people that showed unconscious position but I already have hidden their bodies, so they couldn't be unconscious. So don't trust on OP's tip. Always do control shot. I never loot my bodies, so I instantly hide them or try to destroy their inventory.

Lol OP was probably the one who used teleport hack, failed to kill any people in NEAF and was gunned down by skilled players and then hopped to another one and then just looted three bodies, like a brave man he is.

This game is 50% luck and 50% skill abusing bugs and glitches. You can be the best shooter in a world, but thanks to desync and other issues, you can spray all magazine into a person and he turns around and kills you with one shot. Still, the most advantageous situation is being first to spot enemy and shooting first. Surprise and pro-activeness is crucial in this game, at least, at this stage when the enemy can simply log out if you wait too long, or think about a better plan (thanks to looking through walls, huehue).

They cause desync, but only when you carry more than 5-6, especially if they put in one another, then you won't be able to do anything. I almost managed to drop them (and save the items from them) and now never carry more than 2 cases put in one another. So just don't put them together and you should be good. Thanks to protector cases and ammo boxes, I can have over 1000 bullets for my guns while being low profile with improvised backpack (an elite tier item in DayZ).

Disconnect whenever you want. If an aggressor didn't managed to kill you with first shot, then he sucks, not you. Also it is his own fault if he lost you from sight and lost opportunity to kill a still body (30 sec.) Combat logging makes camping and waiting useless though. However, if they are brave enough to shoot, they should be brave enough to rush you and kill you before you log out.

you probably never left the coast in those 150 hours. SA has more content than mod (not sure about EPOCH, but from videos it looked very dull and empty). When people complain about "no content" all they mean is cars and helicopters, which isn't that much of a content. It is just two items. Once SA get hunting and cars there will be people complaining about no content, because there still will be no helicopters. Yet, servers are full and there are hundreds of them.

Some people don't come to this conclusion even after 200 hours ingame... It is really sad. It is survival game, but it is not about surival from zombies, but other players. Yes, it is PvP game. Always have been.

Mod was terrible. Yes, zombies are harder, but loot is even more abundant than in StandAlone. Also that horrible graphics, lightning and animations... I don't like people who religiously ignore all the flaws and keep praising mod as 100 times better than StandAlone. It is not better. It was good, until stand alone came along and reached patch 34... then mod became just a past. It has now less content, buildings are un-enterable. It doesn't even look like open world game anymore. Just a big big one room. Inb4 people swearing at me how stupid I am for not liking things that they like.

oh wow you such a pathetic person. So you better let other people exploit bugs than let developers know about the bug? Do you even logic? Many many many people know about this bug already, so explaining how this bug occurs isn't gonna change much. Just crash more servers and maybe THEN developers will start doing something. But because of people like you who better keep his little secret to himself, the game is dying. Lucky to you, developers already know about it since the beginning, but it isn't easy to fix it, otherwise it would have been patched in January.
