Anyone who is former military (mostly expert shooters) will understand this and i hope others do as well I have had the M4 quite a few times in game but find its accuracy and potency appalling. I have personally qualified from 50/100/200/300/500m out with iron-sights (Carrying handle for DayZ, like anyone ever uses it for that) that were painted with rifle black and qualified expert numerous times. Does anyone else feel retarded when you have to pump 10-20 rounds at 10-50m to kill someone in game? Or that you need pristine ACOG or w/e optics to be effective over 100m? Also, since when is an M4A1 full auto? Last i checked it was safe/fire/burst.

True but if you wanted a spray and pray weapon why not an MP5 or an AK47?

As i have experienced, Re-zeroing with any sight is always an option unless the barrel/reciever joints/pins are damaged or loose (using this specifically for the m16 class wep since the barrel assembly and the reciever assembly come completely in half.). Otherwise even if the thing is crooked as hell or bent or w/e, if you get the same position, and can adjust it far enough, you can re zero the rifle with any sight.

Just for the unnoficial record what kind of optics did you use? If any? And expert is just a score, im no Mark Whalburg here.

I have a GEforce GTX 550 ti and a week after I purchased and played dayZ SA i also updated my NVIDIA drivers (V334.89) Suddenly BOOOM at least twice a day, crashes, blue screen of death, insta computer safety shutdown and restart. After finding this post I rolled back to the previous (311.06) and again, no problems, no crashes (at least not because of the GPU >.<) and im back to my long sessions w/ the occational loss of connection/KOS. If you dont want to go through the trouble of installing the NVIDIA software(not drivers but "Nvidia GeForce experience" software, my card is older and half the options like shadowplay/3d arent even available or not supported by the games i play), you can use the device monitor and windows to roll back your drivers if you recently updated them. Simply type "Device Monitor" into the windows start menu search bar, open the monitor, expand the \display adapters menu (will display the name of your graphics card), right click\properties\drivers and the rollback-update will be displayed. It wont do anything fancy, the screen will pause for a min or two then bam, you are back to your old drivers again. Thanks for the post Paradogz, thought i might be the only one. Note: I also found Firefox was having a few issues with crashing as well. It is probably tied to how old my card is and the new drivers, but it ran fine before the driver update.

As a player who likes to have fun and goof around a bit id like to see more strange outfits. Dresses, mascot outfit, swimming trunks, DIFFERENT COLORED UNDERWEAR! Surley these would be much easier to find in an end of days type situation than military clothing.

I know this is just an alpha but i find the lack of unique buildings a little sad. It would be great to have a few places that are not duplicated anywhere else on the map. The idea of an abandoned Olympic Village is also a really cool idea. You can easily find pictures from the onlympics in China in 2008 and athens in 2004 and these places look like they are straight out of Dayz SA.

I noticed how much noise i make when I move arround, it makes it hard to hear sometimes and has earned me a few skull bullets. Has anyone mentioned the ability to silence/quiet your gear? Its quite an east task to perform IRL and i dont even come close to sounding like i do in game. Even the heel/toe crouch walk is loud and clunky for my tastes.
