The AKM was brilliant in the mod. Fairly common for a military weapon, and it was a bigger damage dealer than the AK74-M .

I wouldn't say that someone is a 'dumbass' for staying on the coast, but you aren't going to have much luck in the loot department on a busy server sadly :(

I've recently been noticing more people in the small towns that you get to from from east coast to Elektro , if you take a shortcut over the hills instead of walking all the way around. It may be due to the police stations being more frequent, but it has led to more interesting encounters.

Not everything will go your way unforunately. I climbed the top of that pipe chimney in Berezino to see if I could spot anyone nearby. There was a gang of three running directly underneath me in full military gear. Instead of climbing down the ladder, I instead decided to base jump without a parachute. Many rages were had.

It's the last image on of your links , the red house - usually in the first room upstairs with the bookcase I find them.

I've never seen weapons go from anything other than Pristine, and ruined. That is only pistols that were in the backpack aswell. I don't think it has any purpose currently.
