Are you mocking me? Not once did I reference any of those things. Is this topic not about weapon sway?
-
I personally think that the sway/hold breathe mechanic in it's current state is the best it's ever been. The harder the better.
-
Because this game isn't about getting epic lootz FTW.
-
I can't imagine that really being an issue though. Players that eat & drink while walking are likely traveling a decent distance, & I imagine OP's idea is focused around scenarios such as this. & I'm sure this is where the idea stems from -- being able to eat & drink while traveling as opposed to eating & drinking before traveling. It's more of an issue when switching weapons I'd say. Pulling out your primary & being forced to continue walking while in a heated close-quarters gun fight where precision is key is where this bug poses more of a problem.

I figured that much. Just seems a little odd they only specified 7.62x39 rounds to now have weight. & being under "FIXED" without the mechanic itself being in-game yet. lol
-
Can anyone shed some light on this?

I would've felt bad killing that guy lol He must've had that tac. vest for ages.

OP, I'm not entirely against the idea, but I think in a post-apocalyptic world there would be no more service providers. If anything, I'd like to see them expand the walkie talkie mechanic. Maybe players could use a third-party radio to intercept the the players signal that they're broadcasting? Similar to "hacking". Both ideas revolve around eavesdropping. I think the devs are already working on an in-game camera? Don't quote me on that.. Brainstorm how we can expand walkie talkies :)

SVT40  Fits the Eastern theme.

I believe Shrub is Russian. English isn't his first language. Gotta give the guy props ;)

I agree that there's been an abundance of hackers lately. I thought that the "steal your gear from any point on the map" hack was eliminated, but sadly we experienced it once again last night. :( I pray that .49 eliminates a handful of cheats.

There should be so much content, & so much of a threat from the environment, that players almost never reach "end game". Those who reach "end game" (acquiring everything to the point where there's nothing left to do) should be few & far between.

How can the community help youtubers/streamers?

Sounds like the Meet & Greet I held back in July B) -
My best advice would be to request a medic, & crawl back to Berezino in the meantime where you can either fix your leg or suicide if help hasn't come by then. DayZ SA medics: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/160262-need-medical-assistance-in-dayz-sa-find-your-medic-here/

Remember the time you said it was a shame that I wouldn't be handcuffed & force fed disinfectant IRL? We understand that you're defending your idea. But it seems that whenever someone in this thread responds with a logical, valid, or in your words "viable" argument, you choose to either ignore it, or respond with the assumption that we don't understand you correctly. It's hard to be constructive with you.

He was referencing your comment on his amount of posts compared to his playtime in SA.

OP, I believe you're joining fresh servers too quickly as others have suggested. It's happened to me & this is this only cause for it in my experience.

This is exactly why I (personally) don't want such a system in-game. I don't want other players to ask me for my "stats". I want the ability to portray myself however I please without documentation of my past encounters. What if a blood-thirsty KoSer turned over a new leaf, & legitimately tried to change his ways for the better & become a friendlier player? His stats would prevent him from doing that. What about players that have over 1,000 hours in-game? They would surely have a high number of player kills - all of which could be acts of self defense. If I trust someone, & he gets the upper hand & kills me, then good. It's my fault, & I WANT to be punished for my mistakes. It will mold me into a better survivor, & teach me to evaluate other players more carefully. Not knowing what your encounter's intentions are is what makes DayZ so great. I'm not trying to bring you down Rambo, I'm just trying to offer reasonable insight as to why I think such a system would not have it's place in DayZ. To me it just seems like you're disappointed in either being betrayed so many times, or simply not finding friendly encounters in general. My best advice for that, is work on your people skills. That's what these players are - people. They're still people. & they shouldn't be bound to a stat system that poorly reflects who they are as individuals.
