You can't blame a Mosin for being a Mosin. -

Don't put this on me. You signed the execution orders. -
Let's get some perspective here, people. I'm eating cold beans and bacon out of a tin, for heaven's sake. With my fingers. Would it be too much to expect some crockery and tableware? Some clean table linen would also be appreciated. It may be the end of civilisation, but it doesn't have to be the demise if civilised behaviour.

I swear to Ged the next mention of endless spawning or bitching about the definition of a zombie, I'm going down to the coast and execute a new spawn. Maybe two. -
Horrible starts after update.

Sounds like a normal Friday night out in Manchester. -
Blind people are worse off. The devs have had to add routines where the zombies describe what they're doing to you. In braille.

I'm fine with you getting swamped with infinite zeds, mate. But to be serious for a moment, I'm beginning to suspect it's nothing to do with gunshots at all - you appear to be so dense that you're drawing all those zeds into your personal event horizon. -

Complains about too many zombies, but "UNDERSTANDS shooting weapon will attract a TON of ZOMBIES. 20-30 even." Shoots zombies. -
We NEED some way to identify heros and bandits.
AlphaDogMeat . replied to 1S1K-Airborne's topic in General Discussion
I'm trying not to judge the OP too harshly, so here's my take on the concept: 1. Get to the Start screen and tick the Hero or Bandit box. 2. Select your server and log in. 3. If you selected Hero, you are now wearing big (I'm talking 60cm here) clown shoes that squeak loudly with every step. You cannot remove them or muffle them. 4. If you selected Bandit, you are now wearing a jester's cap, with at least seven very loud jingly bells hanging off it, which can be set jingling by the slightest movement - even standing still and looking around. You may not remove or muffle the cap. 5. The only melee weapon available to both classes is a pig's bladder on a stick. The bladder will not hold water and the stick can't be used for splinting. 6. You may use any gun in the game, but they will only fire corks to the accompaniment of a "comedy" popping sound. Face it, If you're going to behave like a complete clown, you might as well do it properly. -

Hell no. It's funny watching you guys struggle with the concept of not shooting anything that moves. -

I blame myself. It's statistically certain that once in a while I will reply to someone who is utterly devoid of comprehension skills and cognitive ability, and yet I still go on assuming there is at least a functional brain stem attached to every forum reader. Thank you for reminding me what happens when I assume, and that there are people on the forum for whom all those squiggly marks on screen are just teeny-tiny caterpillars that crawl around and make their head hurt. -
Is it glitched again? It was certainly working when I found the Blair witch circle earlier...

It's not so much the zombies I'm enjoying - it's the tears of the 'broken' KoS/PvP'ers and their tiny fists of internet rage. Why, this game isn't even fit to be called a beta. -

You don't need to outrun them. You just need enough space to run round them in a circle, hitting them in the head. Any melee weapon will do it, even a newspawn with just fists. They can't (for the moment, at least) turn fast enough to keep up with you to hit you. If you run figure eights, you can lead them away from their spawn spots so they're out of range when they respawn. It also helps with keeping them pointing towards you. There's nothing badass about it, just perseverance. Do you get it yet? -

It was pretty much a hilarious perfect example of what not to do when getting aggro'd- right down to blaming the zombies for doing it all wrong. -

Line them up? WFT for? You can only shoot one at a time. (BTW you're not too good at that either.) So you're standing still out there like a wart on a dick, firing your gun, taking hits and getting your gear ruined, all the while just begging for a LRS headshot. No wonder you're complaining about zombie spawning. Oh, and "basic horde control", my arse. Basic mistakes and failure to comprehend the threat is nearer the mark. -

Did I just see right? First you run in a straight line, then you just stand still to shoot zeds. It's not the game that's broken, mate. -
Really? You're the first person to mention this.

Hiding in a building, too scared to move because of all the nasty zombies? Oh, I can see I'm letting all the best that this game has to offer just slip away from me right there. Have a word with yourself. -
