I knew what you meant. ;)
-
Oh well, if you're going to bring skill into it, then I want ranks for everybody too. And high score tables.
-
/waits for "OMG DayZ is so broken that the crosshair looks like a distant flashlight!!" rant...
-
Fair enough. Enjoy being a perpetual victim.
-
I disagree. If you're going to have OP weapons, then everyone should spawn with one.
-
People who can't adapt get shot. That's the thing about survival, you see?
-
Allow players to choose approximate spawning area.

And I guess you just want new maps for CoD - with Payday masks. -
Oh, you must mean Farmville Extreme Hardcore.
-
Roleplay, you say? Then you all want to dress up as paramilitaries? If only there were a decent gentlemen's outfitters in Svetlojarsk... Chap needs a decent cap, mind.

Kill self 30 times. Could have run it in the time it took for 5.

Why do people want to tell others how to play?
AlphaDogMeat . replied to AdmiralBull's topic in General Discussion
I don't want to tell people how to play. I do want to tell people when to play. -
The search function is just a placeholder.

You there. Put down the crayons and step away from the computer. Plain text, one colour, no caps, no exclamations, spell check, proof read. -
Take a number and get in line, skaterboi. My pogo-sticks are first.

It looks like a framework with some working code and some placeholders to me. What I used to call a prototype when I wrote software. What do you think an alpha version is supposed to look like? -

Indulge my curiosity - did you read the alpha warning and then buy the game, or did you just buy the game and click through the alpha warning because everyone else was buying it? Come to think of it, have you actually played the game at all, or did you just uncork your fountain of butthurt based on other peoples' opinions? -
First experiences of the mod

The mod zeds scare me. -
I once made a papier-mache mosin from someone's library during a rainy day in Gorka. Sprayed it black and held up bambies for their beans and fizzies on the way to NEAF. Happy days.

This game. And the people who play it

Sure it is. You just need to stop holding hands and get out into the world and make your own way. -
A very busy couple of weeks for the whole team has just ended....

Many of those buildings seemed to be half-buried into the sloping landscape, IIRC. -
I knew there was a reason why I crouch when looting those buildings. And never, ever run round the outside of the ATC top floor. Good drills, sir.

That's in stable. I went there a couple of days ago, not much loot or any zeds though. -
Looking back, Do you think that EA release was a good idea?
AlphaDogMeat . replied to c00lface's topic in General Discussion
There does appear to be a direct correlation between the amount of whinging coming from the people who knew what they were buying and those that didn't. I was aware of the SA release last year, but it didn't immediately tick any boxes for me having had a brief and unsatisfying experience with an early version of the mod. I actually wanted a multiplayer Stalker game with crafting, loot/artefact trading and survival elements thrown in, but began to hear more about SA from various sources. So I looked into what was being offered and saw it was essentially a framework of a game with kickstarting and the opportunity to test and possibly influence the future development. Well worth my £20 worth of beans, I thought. Now all I keep seeing is "Waah - zombies are OP! Waah - more AWESOME guns! (remember that guy?) Waah - more PvP! Waah - everything is broken! Waah - Dean stoled my munnys!". So yes, EA was a good idea. But there should have been a test before you could buy into it. -

Clearly it isn't a lot of fun according to the constant whinging about the lack of the entire murcan arsenal of weapons and equipment left lying around in the streets and the lack of an option to insta-spawn in the enemy's base equipped with twin shoulder-mounted chain-guns and a .50 cal in each hand. Or how much more awesome this game would be if we had giant robot suits in the hangars at Balota? And no zombies. And big cities with skyscrapers. And attack helicopters. No, this is not he game you are looking for. I hear CoD now has sharks with frickin' lasers, though...
