It's a fun pistol to chase down new spawns imo

Any idea when the new update is supposed to be released or have the devs given up yet? Getting tired of horrible frames/massive lag and the floods of hackers. The game is getting rather stale but after seeing a few experimental videos, I honestly can't wait. seems as if people shifted to stary sobor now and I also really like the helicopter crash sites... that and that sexy AKM I haven't gotten a chance to shoot.

Global chat would take so much away from the SA now think of the metagaming (even tho thats teamspeaks job) I'm happy with direct although I'd love a admin contact chat, more or less the same as direct except every admin online will get the message. Would help a'lot in regards to hackers and wall glitchers

So, I join off a friend and get a 99 second timer. When it counts down It just get's stuck on "please wait.." after waiting for a bit I just leave and rejoin, another 99 seconds. after that I still get stuck on "please wait.." and end up leaving and rejoining. On the third rejoin I get around 30 - 40 seconds timer and then I finally join. What's happening here? I've heard that they made it look like the timer starts from 99 seconds but in reality it's actually 200 seconds it just doesn't tell you the remaining seconds left, just please wait. anyone else having trouble with this or am I the only one?

So wait, This is supposed to be a REALISTIC zombie SURVIVAL PVP game. You seriously implying if this shit really happened, nobody would lie? That shit makes it fucking interesting, same with people who KOS. Get's the adrenaline pumping when it turns out they aren't as friendly as they said. I hate those people who say bandits and KOS ruin the game, yes I know the element of interacting as gone waaay down when the mod was released but that's what was expected when the game got popular.

My first kill was at balota with a SKS back when the SKS was a piece of shit. Some guy looting was so oblivious running towards me whilst I was hiding in a bush inbetween the ATC and those warehouses, As he got close I popped up and took at least 7 shots at him until I knocked him out, I then went up to his body without reloading, realized he was unconscious and started to wack him with an axe. Finally killed him and after I did, he started saying "IM RECORDING MAN, YOU TELEPORTING HACKING SCUM FAGGOT" I then replied with "you're just mad" and ironically he then called me mad and said I'd get VAC banned and logged so I couldn't loot his shit. I guess that's the mentality you'd expect when 80% of the fan base are dumb fucks.

I've noticed since recent patch that DayZ will make my GPU crash, it's been happening a shit ton now. anyone else experiencing crashes? the whole screen goes black, then the cursor shall appear.. you can also hear sound. Another thing is Ill walk downstairs in a building, exit and then ill be teleported back into the building, sometimes it constantly happens. It's weird that when I exit the building and manage to open a door to another building before I get teleported, that door will still be remain open as if I never got teleported back. Get's quite annoying seeing as If you are being chased by zombies, the zombies can hit you even before you get teleported, It's a great way of ruining all the press-vests I've ever got my hands on.

I don't think kill animations would be good, at all. although more gore would be quite amazing, maybe something along the lines of CoD WaW gore, you know limbs and shit flying everywhere but I don't think that'd really apply well seeing as there is no high powered guns yet and hopefully no time soon. unless of course they were super duper rare and could only be found in the NWA

Some motherfuckers were up in a apartment complex and wouldn't come down so I played some comforting music for them Other than that, I don't really play music when I play. waaaay too risky when you're on your own.

I don't think bandits ruin the game, I think people who can't play both dynamics of the game ruin it. I enjoy playing bandit, I also enjoy playing hero or survivor whatever you call it.. both sides make this game interesting. From my days of playing epoch, most people who complained about bandits were the oblivious players example: someone running in the middle of the road on the coast get's shot and complains that whoever killed him is a KOS bandit noob.. For the most part, you are mainly going to run into bad people but you are also going to run into nice people. as I said, that's what makes this game so interesting.. that and free will.

I only ever died from zombies once, It was just because I had no bandages when one hit me while I was tabbed out. recently I have had zombies hit me from a good bit back when they are chasing me but I just zig zag. If ten of you guys are having trouble from zombies then don't play the game.. once you see the other way more threatening bugs, you'll understand where I am coming from.

I think it would be somewhat of a good idea to implement reward for those who keep their character alive example: > a character who has survived some time would have better aim after sprinting as opposed to someone who hasn't been alive too long. > a character who has kept himself/herself healthy for a certain amount of time gain more from food, drink and saline bags. > a character who has sprinted a certain distance will gain the tiniest sprinting boost (not very keen on that one) I just think it would push players to keep their characters alive rather than running in, dying and running back to get their gear
