I can't wait either! :) Each new life I try a different approach to the game, perhaps next time I'll be friendly, or perhaps next time I'll be reckless and die in cherno, I'm not sure yet. But what I am sure of, is that however I play, it'll be fun. -

Can't believe all the immature personal attacks, calling me an idiot just for shooting people. I have nothing against the players I kill, I'm sure some of them are nice folks. But I enjoy shooting people, is that a crime? Last time I died some sneaky beggar got me with an m1911, fair play to him. He worked it where I was, flanked me and shot me down. Was my fault for not relocating after some kills and for not watching my back. -

That is completely illogical mate. I'm required to go to a specific part of the map, but yet I'm killed by a sniper who's been alive for longer - therefore, I'm incompetent? If you believe that you're superior in any way, continue stroking that e-penis of yours, Mr. Ever-so-competent bandit. Move to avoid snipers. I've seen people do it, if they can do it - so can you! -

I'll die because I made a mistake, didn't see that guy on the hill, didn't look before I leap. You make a mistake of having poor communication, that'll be your downfall then. But the point is, it's not the game's fault, it's not your friends fault, it's not some guy who shoots you fault, it's not the fault of rocket either. IF YOU DIE, IT'S YOUR FAULT . -

This is a thread that cuts through the bullshit, does away with the innuendo and gets right to the point. Mods should make this thread a sticky and merge all the whining threads into this one. Here's a bunch from just the first few pages of general discussion. Or more simply put, 'Remove PvP because I died'. They'll claim it's something else, that they're making suggestions to improve the game, when all they're doing is overturning the table in anger. In my opinion, the game should not bend to your will, foster you, aide you in surviving, make things easier on you, help you avoid death from players or give you a cuddle and some warm milk. This type of whining needs to end, and only suggestions of how to improve the mechanics and gameplay not be locked. Here's an example - motion sensors. You set up a base of operations and place motion sensors around to detect players entering the area, that'll help your survive. You spawn as a survivor for a reason, go ahead and survive, stop making excuses.

They want easy mode, they'll make any excuse to have these exploits left in game. From raptors on the interstate highway attacking their friend (they got go afk FAST) to hurricanes knocking their houses down. -

[/quote'] Ultima online, tibia etc. Just because the recent batch of MMOs got all care bear, doesn't mean that oldschool MMOs were not hardcore to the max and didn't include lock down timers. 15 minutes you were locked down in some games after you killed a guy -- And guess what? It was justified, if you died you lost ALL your equipment and days of work. The PvP was intense and satisfying all the more because of it... It brought realistic emotions into the game which are all too lost in so many easy mode games these days. Ah Ultima online. such a great game. However you over estimate the logout time in UO. Even before it got carebeared, campfires were a waste of time. The 15 minute timer was Tibia. The point also stands, PvP is so, so much better when there are things to loose. When people can't log off or run to their safe zone at the drop of a hat. Human emotions like fear, panic come into play -- you get a genuine adrenaline rush from pixels. It's fun... People don't like fun and danger, they want safety and level grinding. -

Looks like we got another victim here. We've all be capped by makarov noobs before' date=' it's fine. But then we learned to become [b']VICTORS, now we do the capping. Sometimes we get capped too, by other wood-be victors, who sometimes ram us with their phallic horns and remain the victors. This however, should not be your concern, this is high level shit I'm talking about here. You, on the other hand, have barns to raid. -
