I know I can run it, but do ya'll think I can either max it or run low/med and record/stream? Desktop or laptop?: Desktop4LyfeMonitor resolution: Not sure yet, Pro***ly going to buy a 1080pCPU: 750k X4 Amd 3.4GhZ, but I shall overclock to like 4.0 or so pro***ly Graphics card: Radeon R7 260x, 2GBRAM:* 8 GigerzSSD? (Yes/No) Nope
-
Hey guys, Im running Quad AMD 640s, ATI Radeon 4200 HD, 8 GB ram. can I run dayz on min?
-
If you are still reading this, one final (pro***ly) question. Would this setup be able to run BF4 or crysis 3? Even on low?
-
Emm i'd be looking at a minimum of 250 GB
-
So my plan in general sounds solid?
-
I guess we'll see. If the processor is still good but the GPU is outdated, then i will get a dedicated one. If they are both old then to hell with it, get a new APU
-
Oh I didnt actually realize that motherboard affected performance that much, I figured it just connected everything. So if I was to do this now, I would pro***ly go with... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113333 APU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104384 RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132045 Motherboard. For a grand total of ~$250. Not bad at all. then I would upgrade in this order PSU to the one you said RAM to 8 GB Motherboard to something better SSD APU Go from there
-
Ahh cool. I edited my last post (:
-
Oh so the one you sent me (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113333) is good because it's a Richland? Oh ok nice! And also, whats the difference between the $90 Motherboard and the $57 one? I only need 3 USB's (Joystick, Mouse, Keyboard), and I don't use all ya'lls fancy stuff
-
Yeah, I'm not sure, remember I'm a hardware newb. If you could do that I would much appreciate it
-
M'kay cool. Also, with that motherboard you posted, it seems people are complaining it does not support Kaveri/APU. Is this the case? If it does not support the A8 I want nothing of it Edit: For your ram edit, that makes sense. Will I notice much difference between 4 and 8 GB if I was to do that? On my current setup with 6gb I run TS, facebook, Stream music and play games (BFP4F/World Of tanks atm) and it seems fine
-
Wow thanks! Will my PSU right now run it, or will I need to upgrade? I don't mind if it's not perfect, my current setup is much less then perfect. Also, would my wonderful 2 GB of corsair ram run until I can buy the 8GB, or is it incompatiable? If I could save that $90 on ram, I could practically buy this tomorrow. EDIT: Also how can I identify if X part will work with Y part (Motherboard is the big one). I have some friends who have spare gaming stuff, and I would like to sound less stupid if I ask them if they have anything they could send my way
-
Cool, sounds good. Read up for my IDE question^^^ So basically what I'm getting out of this is for ~$300 I can make a computer that runs basically any game at at least 25-30 fps, at least on minimum? Also, is the PSU i posted on the other page compatiable with this setup?
-
Nice! and for the HDD? And will this setup allow me to record dayz at low/med and 30 FPS? that would rock And it is IDE, but I might invest in this for now, $12 isn't much, and i'll upgrade to SSD after a while
-
Nifty, so are they going to move on slowly and make super hardcore, like top of the line processors and GPU's together? What would you say I would run this game at with that setup? EDIT: It currenty has a WD2500, nothing special, but it has true win7 on it which is a plus. Is that compatiable with the motherobard?
-
So would it almost be better to switch over to i3/i5 or and Nvidia? Or would this work for long in the future? Also, I'm stupid. So essentially, if I bought the three things you posted, I could slap (well, not exactly) them in, and run most/all games at respectable settings?
-
I'm not sure if I want to do a integrated type thing. Could you link me to one of these A8s? EDIT: I see you linked them to me. I assume, the $120 one is the best one. Say I don't like the integrated graphics and later I want to upgrade, does it have PCI x16 (?) so I can put say a 650 or 750 TI in it? Also, how respectable of a processor is it on its own, without the GPU EDIT EDIT: Wow Im blind, I see you posted some RAM and Motherboard
-
Thanks for that tip! However I am trying to get away from my old computer. Also, I do not need or really want to play max GFX, I would rather play medium @60-80 vs max @30-40
-
I'm so glad you're helping me. If you could bear with me, I will explain what this other computer has Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813123236 Ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145026 X4 GFX: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/other/Pages/x1950-specifications.aspx PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371006 And my processor... Ehm Its AMD. I cannot actually plug the computer in to a monitor because cables arent compatiable. What I'm hoping is I can, at least for right now, get away with only replacing GPU and processor. If that is not the case, please tell me otherwise But if it is, how would this hold up? Processor http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093H8HXS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0093H8HXS&linkCode=as2&tag=c09_11-20 GPUhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130841 Thoughts?
-
Yeah, I actually already have a "computer". I think it would need a new GFX card, new processor, new RAM, and maybe a new motherboard. I know thats alot, but it saves me good in HDD, PSU, case, and such. What would you suggest for that, on a budget?
-
Hmm, I guess Im almost better dropping 400-500 on a new decent comp
-
So that would balance them so they are on the same level?
-
Yeah, I do. Idk if I wanna drop 150 though. Would the 750T1 bottleneck my processor?
-
So I can buy that GFX card even tho i have integrated?
-
But I can for sure run min at decent FPS? Wanna know before dropping the cash
