Can't play either at the moment but don't worry about it. Play a different game for the time being, i was fully expecting this because it is in alpha and that's what you should do too because i find that if i Expect it to not work and you wont be so disappointed when it actually happens.

Dude trust me it works i used it to get out of that very building but the problem is you cant have even a second of the timer. You need to wait out the timer first, log out next to a wall. Then when you log in hold down the w key immediately and by the time the screen has actually loaded up you should be about 10 feet in front of where you left your avatar.

Also lots of the residential buildings, the pub, those three story buildings and the first floor of the school.

Both bugs my friend, the zombies below you can hit you on any of the firestation floors if you stand still. Also if you fall off the steps even slightly it will stop you from being able to move your character for a couple of seconds so this was not a hack just very unfortunate bugs combined.

It can not just be me but i was getting killed constantly in electro by blatant hackers and this was every time i died, it would be down to a hacker and i would have to spend hours gearing up again. I got so frustrated i uninstalled the game and have not been back to it since, i thought i was crazy but i can see from these last couple of posts that hacking is becoming rife again and i am not just going insane. Not in a asshole'ish way but i am glad others are having the same experience.

Here is what you have to do if there is truly no way out. Log out of a server while running forward, wait for the timer and when you log back in hold down the w key immediately and you will run through anything that is in front of you including walls, this has saved me many of times. Good luck.

I agree with you. I feel i was forced to uninstall because i dont like cheating whether it be in alpha beta or whatever i just cant stand spending hours of my time to get a decent character just to have someone teleport all around me and then kill me and so blatantly as well. This is alpha though right so i should not be having 'fun' on the 'game'. But as everyone has said i am just going to wait until the game is released and then if i remember and IF the game still looks appealing to me then i will start playing again, i am not ranting and i am not angry when i type this i was just letting people know that i have given up on the game for now until they introduce private hives to avoid the frustration. 'But it wont ever be "to late" to introduce private servers.' I think that is subjective tbh. It may not be too late for you but i am almost certain it will be too late for me as i would have lost interest by then.

I have just been killed by some guy who was teleporting behind me and laughing his head off around the back of electro, he kept appearing behind me and vanishing again calling me a 'fag' like being killed by a hacker is not enough it had to be a 12 year old. This just seems to be happening more and more and i just do not understand what is going to be done to stop these cheaters, everyone is so quick to say 'there will always be cheaters in a game' but that does not excuse the fact that nothing is being done about hacking. Battleye and vac are not good enough on their own. I never played the mod but i am 99% sure they had both and it did not really make any difference there so does anyone really think it is going to do much now, especially when the hacking websites sell copies of dayz for really cheap as well so the deterrent for cheating is not working.

I have just died to a hacker for the last time now. I watched a new spawn running from one of the electro firestations to another and i saw this guys warping really fast behing him, on the last warp he is kneeling and he kills the fresh spawn so i go to aim at him and he just starts warping in a massive circle and then bang you are dead, my friend tries to shoot him but apparently he dissapears and then bang my friend is dead as well. THIS WAS A HACKER I WATCHED IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Anyway to the main point, i wont install this game again until there is private servers that i can join that can be screened for cheaters. I forgot why i played the console more often until i bought this game and then i got a sharp reminder so if any of the devs are listening or read these forums please introduce some form of private servers even if its a few like 10 just so we can have some cheat free servers otherwise me and i am sure many others are going to start leaving in large numbers and i dont want that because i dont think i will be that interested in this game a year from now and after today i am certainly not interested in it anymore. tldr; We need private servers and we need them fast. Hackers have forced me to uninstall this game and i am sure i am not alone, if private servers are not introduced soon it will be too late and the only people left playing will be the hackers.

Yes there is, why dont you do some research instead of burying your head in the sand. 'Is there a teleport hack, i doubt it' The proof is on youtube and has been posted on this very forum several times which i guess you just happened to skip by or maybe they were all desync as well. There is the same amount of hacks for this game as there was for arma 2 at first and it is only going to get worse and i will be laughing at the likes of you and several people above who when this game is ruined by hackers (already has been for me) will be on the forum complaining about this issue but when we could have got it fixed you were too busy denouncing the people trying to inform you of the issue. I will be laughing so much when that day comes and i have decided i will be making that day quicker as i have decided to fight cheating with the only thing i can fight it with, more of the same.

For me it only took about 5 minutes max, i got a lucky spawn but i have seen bodies slide off and some dissapear so there is so many bugs at the moment.

That is not supposed to happen. Maybe it was just a one off thing. I fell of the roof of berezino hospital yesterday (dont ask) and i was able to go back and get my gear so i have not been able to replicate this fault. Was it in experimental or regular and if it is in experimental you should check the bug tracker.

This post makes no sense at all, your theory is full of holes the main one being if i had an fnx and a mosin and i saw 3 players standing together i would most probably switch from my mosin to my fnx to kill them as i have a lot more bullets in the fnx so how would it be a deterrent exactly. ?? Also I would still try and kill those players.

I can not believe people are actually saying that was desync. They all say 'i have never seen a hacker before'. Its no wonder when you are shown a video of blatant hacking and you call it 'desync' it is no wonder your small brains could not piece it together.

I have found the exact same thing as the op, i have encountered at least one hacker every day for the last week as well and i thought i might have been crazy but the OP has just confirmed i am not the only one. To all those people who try and tell me it is desync and what not i know that is not true, i know the difference and i know that i have been being killed by hackers LOADS. Anyway this issue really needs to be sorted as i uninstalled the game yesterday and will not be installing it again until it has a lot less hackers. Arma 2.1 is what this game is at the moment and it was not meant to be that way.

I was killed by a hacker on the experimental the other day as well. I dont know if this is desync but my guy was openly having fun with his hacks.
