Actually it very much matters... IF helis are given extremely realistic flight models requiring SIM experience, or real world knowledge then finding a pilot (especially in this game) is going to be just as hard as finding a heli... In the end, I don't want helis at all, but if they are to be added they need to be extremely realistic.

A little short sighted, but not too far off... Essentially the problem all stems from the phrase "It's Just Business". Now call me crazy, but intentionally pushing a small business out of business just to slightly increase the overall corporate "productivity" of your company is certainly, very very personal... I look at people who live by this expression in a similar light as people who use religion as an excuse for violence or prejudice. You really have no idea... The power of this "single voice" is almost nothing in comparison to the collective power of the "states" via elected officials of congress... There are 100 voting members in the senate, and over 430 voting members within the house... Furthermore, The united states has basically been a two party system for the past 100+ years. What the democrypts and republibloods hate even more than each other, is another party, or parties trying to but in on "their" game. Furthermore, supporting politicians has become a simple investment for corporations which can now (thanks to a bogus supreme court dessicion) essentially use billions of dollars as "Free Speech" in the form of political donations. This means that all the money is going to go pouring into the only two parties that have an chance, resulting in even further sterilization of political movements outside of the status quo rebub vs demo bull crap. Most "Americans" (omg how dare they use a portion of the official name of their country as a nickname!!!!) completely despise the current political playground as it's just the rich serving the rich to simply become richer. FYI, my point about the sates holds true... Internally states can be run VERY differently, and have completely different social and economic values... Just compare Vermont and Texas as one example... Or Oregon and North Dakota. In the end, pretending (yes it is pretending) that America is represented by a single voice is not only completely wrong, but simply self serving to an obviously ignorant anti American biased opinion. If you want to hate on the U.S., be my fucking guest.... But please, when doing so, don't just make shit up, or at the very least, listen to people who actually have a clue.

Got to love how americans always get lumped into "one group" yet there is 400,000,000 of us across almost 3,000,000 square miles... Compare that to the EU at around 500,000,000 million people, and 1,700,000 square miles... When you break the U.S. into states, which btw all have seperated state governments, the comparison becomes even more relevant... Pretending that every american is the same is almost as bad as me pretending every person within the EU is the same... Also, as a note about guns in the U.S..... less than 25% of the population owns at least one firearm, meaning that the vast majority are not gun totting "lunatics" (the overwhelming majority of gun owners are extremely responsible btw) as international propaganda seems to commonly portray us... Furthermore, most americans have and still do detest our foreighn policy, so please, don't go bashing an entire nation off of some misguided bias...

Dude... The game is about a bloody zombie apocalypse... and what's making you "not believe it" is weapons from all over the world? Really?!! You're grasping at straws here dude... Furthermore, what's to say that chernarus is not the centerpoint of this hypothetical "beleviable" lol, zombie shit storm resulting in nations from all over the world getting involved? Regardles, it far easier to hypothisize a beleivable scenario in which nato weapons end up in former soviet russia than it is to do so with zombies...

Exactly!! Too many people confuse a larger variety of weapons (a good thing) with a larger total number of weapons (a bad thing), yet there is no garanteed coralation between the two... Furthermore, huge numbers of people blame the current KOS gameplay on the weapons, rather than looking at the actual problems... Like server hoping, very limited player spawn points, and general lack of other things to do...

Yet the fn fal (a battle rifle) has been confirmed.... So yeah, battle rifles ARE going to be added...

I personally think they should scrap the current gas mask and choose one that is a bit smaller and less likely to clip with other head mounted items... I also believe that the strap portion of the gas mask around the top and back of the head should simply not render if hats or other head gear is being worn.

I very obviously said that I have not played it, and that my post was based on obviously not credible sources (just some banter on TS) saying that it runs better... Yet some how you managed to miss all of that and flame away anyway... All that was needed was a simple "naaa, they are wrong, it runs much worse" but nooooooooo.....

Essentially all I want Rybo is for there to be room for both the m4a1 and the m16a4 in this game. I'd also very much like to see a 16inch barrel as a rare drop for the m4 essentially increasing the "fragmentation" range of the bullet by another 50m or so. Either way, they need to get the m4a1 we have in game functioning as it should first. Edit: I'm not sure what it is, but an m4 with a 16 inch barrel just looks proportionally sexy as hell. Here is a pic of one with a flip up sight and some very "familiar" mods I snagged from google images.

Rybo, I'm not former mil, but a 20 inch barrel is slightly more accurate at extended ranges than a 14.5. The reality is that the difference in accuracy is very minute, and pretty much nonexistent inside of 300m though. At extremely exaggerated ranges (like 800m) the 20 inch is going to be significantly better though. Here is a reasonable article on the effect of barrel length on 5.56 nato ammo. http://sadefensejournal.com/wp/?p=1093 Using m855 ammo, the difference in muzzle velocity between a 20 inch barrel and a 14.5 is right around 300 fps... That's more than a 10% increase in velocity, which in the world of terminal ballistics, is actually quite significant. Beyond accuracy, and gyroscopic stability, there is of course that "magic" 2,500 fps needed for the bullets to properly fragment. The 20 inch barrel carries a velocity > than 2,500 to quite a further distance than the 14.5 inch, resulting in increased lethality, at greater ranges. A m855 being fired out of a 20 vs 14.5 carries around 15% more energy as well, again, rather significant.

If you consider exploiting in an alpha, ego mongering, and general douchery "wonderful" then yes, this community is indeed wonderful. Overall, it's just business as usual for a modern gaming community, aka it kinda sucks. It is however better than some, so use that to fuel your "glass is half full" optimism.
