    Very Disturbing Zucchini Glitch

Just the pick me up I needed for a crappy morning at work. Friggin hilarious
  2. Hope to run into the bunch of you this weekend... do you have a specific time you go on usually?
  3. Having watched both perspectives was awesome. Great job on the flank... a little surprised he sat and waited in the same spot.. not the smartest idea!

The social experiment goes horribly wrong!

Excellent, I'll try to pop on later tonight (Canada time though) Name in game is -=Stalker=- Not sure if you will be around by the time I get on there or not, but I'll be sure to watch for you and the crew of misfits each time I connect, who knows, I may play the part of a victim in one of your upcoming "Social Experiments" ;)

    Operation Charlie + The Aftermath!

That sounds like a good time, which server do you all run on? I'd love to pop in and join in the fun and games! Most likely be running around all weekend and trying to get into a bit of trouble... If you want we can do a Steam ID exchange and make it easier to find when/where you all are

    Operation Charlie + The Aftermath!

Well between the last episode (forced murder) and this one, lets just say I am watching your you tube channel intently for updates. The shit you pull on your pals is classic!! I show your vids to all the guys I game with and more than a few have launched food or drink across the room in laughter

    Operation Charlie + The Aftermath!

You guys seem like an amazing bunch to run around DayZ with.. do you guys need another companion to run around with and troll and poke fun at, if so sign me up ;)

    Operation: Charlie

Well, 2 down, how many more of your good buddies are you going to troll. I loved the last video where you got MrTrippy, and this one was even better. Beans for the great reaction at the end... "I wanted to kill this kid and he isn't even real!!!"

    Forced Murder.

I do not support all the KOS and random killing and banditry and so on in DayZ.... but this was PHENOMINAL!!! I was laughing so hard at my desk my co-workers came running to see wtf I was losing my mind over. That little bugger with the broken legs crawls in, sees a handcuffed guy and instantly "Imma kill u mate!!" I need to re-watch this one again!!

    Your first kill

Still going strong with no kills. I often pay for my kindness by being KOS'd but most times people I encounter seem to be open to dialogue. Had a couple of good times with a couple of people in the last 2 nights. I am definitely not the "hero" guy. I will help freshie's if they are being atacked by Zeds, but if someone is being attacked by some geared up militants, I will not sacrifice my life for theirs. So definitely not hero material, just survivalist material..
  12. With a spotting scope yes, with any other optic or naked eye, no. Owning both an SKS and a Mosin, I can tell you that at anything over 500m I need a second person working the spotting scope to confirm my placement (on target or off). The range I shoot at is all loose dirt with huge berms to stop bullets from travelling off range and without the aid of a spotting scope there is no evidence of where the rounds land, no plumes of dust "taller" than a person. But all that aside, I don't think bullet impacts should be visible any further than a couple hundred meters (unless you are hitting a building) unless you have an optic, (which at most should push it out to maybe a max of 500m). There is a reason snipers have a spotter with them, they have an optic big enough to see the dimples on the enemy's ass at a couple of miles to inform the sniper of his POI so he can adjust his aim as required. The naked eye can only do so much :)

things that make you rage quit

Never said I don't get angry.. I hate dying to, but to "rage quit" is utterly useless. People throwing joysticks and mice and beating monitors and keyboards is NOT repeat NOT healthy. When I die I give a "FFS!" but then I hit respawn and begin again and enjoy relaxing and chilling and roaming the country side
  14. I have to say that was awesome! The last note was, as you said a skin crawling moment.. thanks for posting so the rest of us can avoid shacks with multiple notes inside lol

things that make you rage quit

If you seriously rage over a game, there is bigger issues at hand lol. This is supposed to be your time to go have fun and just chill, you do know there is no way to "win" in dayz right??

    DayZ Standalone - SURVIVING!

Pretty cool vid.. If anything its cool to go back and watch yourself after and see where (if you did) you went wrong if you get capped.
  18. The next patch will see another influx of people who come running to see the new wares, but honestly I am all for having the people who are bored by the survival/realism aspect just leave anyways. rather have a smaller tight nit community who appreciate dayZ for what it is and enjoy it as such :)

    My dayZ experience so far

Something to go along with what the others have mentioned, even on a low population server. Do NOT run into town like a fat kid chasing an ice cream truck. Skulk on the outskirts for about 5-10 minutes looking for any signs of movement etc.. then slowly make your way to your primary target (as mentioned you will know which buildings are key to hit) and before you go inside, have an escape route planned (does the building have a back door, any ladders from roofs etc.) then once inside, gear up and again, use the windows and doors to take a good look outside to ensure no one is moving in on your position. Move quickly and smartly, use cover, go between buildings and by fences etc as you vacate town, not down main street waving a flag and handing out candy to the people watching you parade through town ;) Regardless of how many people are on a server that is how I play. Play tactical at all times (well as much as you can, we all eff up once in a while)
  20. Honestly, I am torn on this one. While I would love to NOT have the private hives so everyone is together on the same core game, I can see the benefit. All the PvP/DM/CTF fans will go play on the private hives giving them unlimited ammo and BFG's on every farmers doorstep and battle choppers rigged with tactical nukes... they can run and gun and spray and pray and KOS to their hearts content For those of us who want to play what dayZ is supposed to be will get to play on the vanilla hive and play the game the devs wanted everyone to enjoy. I also agree with Caboose though that I for one would love to have a private hive only to find the ultimate hardcore server (actual night cycles, less weapons and ammo, minimal gear, living off the land, no base building, no 3rd person view, etc..) as that is honestly the way I envision an "apocalypse" style society. There is no "right" way to play the game, but trying to keep it as close to the devs original concept for me is the way to go, and if that means the game "loses fanbase due to boredom" that is good, the hardcore players who want to play and use their wits and skill to survive will stick around and enjoy it for many years to come.

    Your first kill

No kills as of yet (100+ hours). I (like some others have said) mostly skulk around and keep to myself, trying to find the stuff I need to survive. When I do encounter other survivors (and it hasn't happened to many times) I often take up a position of advantage (to protect myself) and open dialogue.

    Can't Sprint

Make sure you didn't get stuck leaning. I was playing with a buddy the other day and he was bitching about not being able to sprint. turns out he had double tapped his lean key and was stuck leaning to the left. as soon as he stood up straight he could sprint again

    Torchia's Improved M1911 Textures

Agreed.. the more the guns can look "used" the better. not gonna walk into a building and find a NIB gun sitting on the floor. It musta been used and dropped there by the poor unfortunate sucker who couldn't aim well enough and is now being digested somewhere ;)

Why wont people play in the night ?

Just saying Some of the best times I ever had were at night. If you can't see... get a light!! Want added security, play with a group! Shame so many people play this game for gear and not for the game... you know your gear doesn't go with you into the afterlife.. its ok to lose it once in a while ;)
  25. This is me as well. I had a character pushing 60 hours of gameplay, I kept a wide berth of other players when I saw them, and if I got caught in a bad spot I would try to talk my way out (and did a few times) but my last encounter was just doomed from the start.. as soon as I heard the guys accent I should have shot first and asked questions later lmao.. when I trusted him and let him up stairs his partner waited for the opportune time and came up a blazing!
