Hmm let me see.

Wasnt asking for sympathy. 'Easymode' as opposed to walking for an hour hoping you find a gun before your KOS'd by a dude and his pals that most likely duped their gear. Or my favorite, spawn on coast, head to nearest town, find nothing, repeat for another 3-4 towns, find nothing, say **** it ima head to an airfield, get sniped on the way in, or even better, find nothing, get sniped on the way out. If im lucky enough to not get killed searching anyone of those pre mentioned towns. And yes i do take my time, ninja'ing my way everywhere once i have anything worth holding onto. Im not one of those guys who just runs down the middle of the streets/coast/train tracks. And no @ serverhopping, tho it is a 'easier' way, its just plain annoying. I rather not. I rather not.

What i mean is, a server that starts you with a random loadout. A random gun, clothes, etc. Similar to how some of the mod servers are. Dont get me wrong, i enjoy the experience of gearing myself and all that, but sometimes i just want to get in and get out, if you know what i mean.

Lol yes it is. Like ill see someone in crouch position or prone, and instead of walking or crawling, they just slide across the ground. One dude even had the dead animation and was sliding towards me.

Ive been playing on a server and 3/4 people are gliding everywhere. I can still hit them but doing so is very hard. Any insight?

Update, im having tons more fun with the mod then i did with Standalone. Sure it sucks that most building arent open and you cant really customize your character, but the fun is there. You can hop in a server with vehicles everywhere and start with a gun, or vice versa. The different maps add variety too. I wouldnt completely say it kills the SA, but its def a breath of fresh air. Recommend it if you can get the Arma 2 and CO for cheap.

Im very new to the DayZ mod. I didnt know veteran servers had harder zombies. Also im gonna check out that Epoch Server david. Thanks.

Looking for a server with more dangerous zombies. Or more zombies in general. Like 5 shot kills or something.

Whether to get it or not. Ill prolly just try out the mod and maybe other servers that catch my eye. Is it worth it?

Im on experimental btw. Dont know if you guys are. Even on the full 100 pop server, i didnt run into a single person yet. Im literally surrounded by mountains and trees.

I would like if they kept up the coast spawns. Last 4 times i spawned in, i spawn in all the way north in the map on top of some mountain and it takes me like 30 minutes to run to a town. Ive been running for the past hour and 15 minutes trying to get to the coast. Server resets. Come back in...character reset and guess where im at? On top of some fk'n mountain in the middle of nowhere again. Jeez. Im trying hard to give this game a chance because when its fun, its fun. But running for an hour just to get into some contact with another person is ridiculous.

Was playing hardcore. So there was no way he corner watched me. He took shots at me with a SKS from across town and i lost him at the train tracks behind the train in the Northern most town. I hid behind a couple bushes and a beam. He came straight to me and 1 shotted me after literally turning the corner of the trains. I spawned in the same town and ran back to my body. As soon as i came around the corner his sights were up and aiming at me. I managed to get away and came around the next corner about 3 houses later. He was aiming there again before i even came out. I ran all the way around the town to the opposite side of the tracks. Guess what? He and his buddy where running straight towards me. I hid and logged to not give him the satisfaction of killing me again. Sucks because i was ruling that town for over an hour and got 6 kills against other armed guys. Yet he just shows up and 1 shots me and then knows exactly where i am everytime after that. I know its no use complaining but i just wanted to let it out. All the ambience of sneaking around and looting destroyed by some dude who knew exactly where i was at all times. And in a game as hardcore and tedious as this...makes me not want to play anymore. Its like the worst game to get hacked on.
