King (DayZ)

I know this is not the thread for this, BUT I really want his attention and hope you actually read this... As you may or may not know, A lot of shit is being stirred up with the Dayz Origins mod since yesterday...The Dev Team from this mod have pulled the plug on ALL their GameServer Hosts since they have launched their own hosting company to create a monopoly of server hosting and left hundreds of PAYING Admins without servers (before the end of our terms) for their own personal profit and advancement using YOUR creation... This is in no way a request for money or compensation, this isn't about the 60$ I got screwed out of (financially speaking ill still be able to eat at the end of the day lol). This is about people using the Dayz name (and Bohemia to a certain extent) for personal advancement and profit without ANY consideration for players\admins and the actual Dayz franchise. Having third parties take peoples money then dropping everyone in the dark because they want more and force us to use exclusively their servers without ANY warnings or heads up? ...Is this behaviour acceptable?!? Is this something that we can expect when we start renting SA servers? How are people going to feel when you start your studio with stories like this following? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game and have the highest respect for what you and your team has done and in noway blame you or anyone from Bohemia for this, but...In my country (Canada), when you take someone's money for services and then don't provide them, it's considered FRAUD and THEFT, I love this game, I loved playing the Dayz mod for years and find this absolutely unacceptable and request (if you can) that the Dayz Origins Dev team have their rights on the Dayz Mod REVOKED for fraudulent activity, theft, monopoly creation and misleading people using the Dayz Name! okay this isn't really the point I was trying to bring up...someone stole money from hundreds of people and misled thousands of players for personal profit using a product originally created by Dean Hall and Bohemia, this can't be part of the copyright and if they don't have a valid licence to use the mod, then they CERTAINLY shouldn't be allowed to do so after all this. We all very well know they aren't responsible but the best and\or worst advertising you can get is word of mouth and people always talk more about the negative shit then the positive (just read basically any threads within this forum). This is an amazing game where people have invested countless hours to create and I think it would be a shame to have bad rep because of stories like this that go ignored! you CAN relog on a Hardcore server if you were playing on a Regular server (and viseversa) maybe once the Hive resaves your new character it will allow you to relog on a regular server. (and you need to change your in-game name on bottom right of screen first) worked for me.

Same problem here, me and my friend are both stuck in the "Death Loop" (bottom left of screen says "Testing 1 2 3") even if you change servers same problem, some servers will get stuck at Please Wait....

Hi this happenned on 14/06/2012 between 12:30pm and 1:30pm(more or less) Eastern Standard Time (Montreal, Quebec, Canada time). on server: US5...suspected player logged off at exactly 1:42pm (think his name was Jordy but a few logged off in this time frame). Please read through before dismissing... Me (player id: 15665990) and my friend "Meesterberch" (player ID: 17410694) entered Cherno to raid appartment building for food, when we entered the small one besides the Hospital I got shot in stairway going to 2nd floor...(shit happens so I though) so went back to get revenge everytime I went upthere I would die and would be incapable of seeing anybody (must have died at least 3-5times) (i even tried chucking a grenade in there)anyways. Meesterberch would camp on top of hospital and then other appartment building to make shure he would not leave while i respawned and ran back for my sweet sweet revenge...after dying so many times and suspecting a hacker I decided to switch to server: Kansas 1 went up to 2nd floor and placed myself so i could see the whole hallway when I logged back in to US5 (and yes i know your not suppose to do this but read on anyways)...I log back in and guess what?!? no one to be seen on 2nd floor, walk out to stair case, get shot, but manage my way up on the roof. I found a clipping bug, if your crouched and you "zoom" with gun u see through roof, so i walked around looking for the guy in the building and i noticed a player...WITH MY M16A2 (asshole) in the farback room(bathroom) u know where u CANNOT GO because door doesnt open! I have NO idea HOW he went there but it is IMPOSSIBLE to shoot him since there are no windows in that room after he logged off around 1:42pm EST i tried to go there and the doors are decorative u cannot enter that room. So long story short...the guy has AT LEAST 5-8kills (me being around 4-5 of them) because other players went there to die also. I hope you can track him down and make him burn in hell! lost my M16A2 :"( Finally BTW I tried to get a printscreen of the player but for some reason it only takes a picture of my desktop -_-
