The update has been pretty fun. I spawned in, ran to Svet, and by that time I was freezing and hungry. Found some food and supplies but no axe to chop wood for a fire. Then I ran into a guy with an axe, we were both friendly and both freezing so I suggested we make a fire to warm up (I had matches and rags). We ran into the church and figured out how to light a fire, at that point I was hypothermic. I passed out before I could warm up and my friend said he was doing CPR or something, I was unconscious so I could see what was going on. That didn't work, but he remembered he had seen an epipen in a building near by but had no room in his bag at the time. So he ran off to go find it but I died. The reason I tell this story is because we needed each other to survive, I see teamwork becoming a much bigger factor in survival, not just squad battles.

Able to carry sawn off with an M4 plus fire axe?

It doesn't fit in the holster, I tried. -
Frankie or Maniac are a good places to start, then use the Vector bunny Morgan freeman videos to bring him in.

Change how the prone, crouch and stand keys work.

Couldn't agree more. You need to have the option from going standing to lying down immediately, visa versa -
Does anyone know if the sawed off shotgun will fit in the chest, pistol holster?

Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
JSTEEZYSNAKE replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
1. Fix the running through wall business. 2. This spawning is a step in the right direction but clearly broken. You should be able to clear out an area or at least kill a zed and know he's dead... for good. If they respawn it should be 30 minutes later in an area with no players near. 3. The new speed is not my favorite, it would be nice to have varying speeds of zeds, for the varying states of muscular decomposition. All of them being speedsters makes it really difficult when freshly spawning, can't even look in any buildings. 4.Lower awareness (ability to sneak by them). 5.(my favorite) gunshots draw them from further away, like the next town over, and out of the woods. So the ass hole bandits on sniper hill get overrun, or a horde of zombies interrupts a tense PvP stand off from all directions. Of course for this to work, melee hits would need to stop making bullet sounds among other things. 6. The damage is good if speed, wall running, and respawn is fixed, it was dumb when they would hit you 3 times and your not even bleeding. 7. With items 1-6 fixed or improved add more zombies.... lot's more, with higher concentrations obviously in larger cities, but also add higher concentrations the further up north you go, like hordes in the fields south of the NW AF for example, because you generally have more gear and weapons the further away from the coast you get (longer you play). All my opinion of course, nothing more, nothing less. -
Why would you spawn into a hotspot on a crowded server? The point of this game is that there is no point, you play however you want.

The Community's List of Suggested Weapons for Dayz Standalone (Version: 1.29)
JSTEEZYSNAKE replied to alexeistukov's topic in Suggestions
I think a FOLDING HUNTING BOW would be pretty cool, Almost completely silent, accurate. Paint customization options. Mostly found in the hunting shacks. If they install huntable animals like deer, rabbits, etc. it would be very advantageous to hunt silently without drawing the attention a gun shot does. I say folding so that it doesn't take up a primary weapon spot on the back, It could take up 3 inventory slots and take about 10 seconds to take out and put back. Of course you would need to find arrows in varying condition that also takes up some inventory. Then people will want a quiver to carry the arrows, so who knows. -
So when are loot/spawn locations being fixed?
JSTEEZYSNAKE replied to scaramoosh's topic in General Discussion
**Just my opinion** I don't know what the developers are planning and i'm relatively new to this game, but in my experience I've found that spawning on the coast is a rather important factor in this game. You can risk it with zombies and bandits in the cities and Balota AF and have as good a chance of finding good loot as at the NW Airfield. Also it's really easy to figure out where you are when you have the sea to your back, paired with the time and the suns location.
