I took a quick look to find an answer, but I couldn't find it yet. I'm thinking about giving experimental a try as well, but I was wondering do you lose you characters from Stable branch (both regular and hardcore) if I'd give experimental a try and went back to stable for whatever reason?

Nice story and well written. Such encounters are always fun! They really get you on the edge of your seat, instead of the kos and get killed before you even know what happend. Oh and about your dehydration, there are waterpumps in most of the big towns, also in Berezino. Try and find those and keep them in mind, they are lifesavers!

You are right about that, now I think of it. But still, that won't really affect the time gearing up or does it? I mean, if the chance indeed is small something rare spawns, you still have to be that 1 lucky basterd finding it. And the 1 who finds it, might just be a guy who just started 20 minutes or so, or perhaps the guy who is indeed been searching and looting for 20 hours, right?

It still happens now and then yea. Happend to me twice this week.

If it should be 30 ours or so...how it that even possible? Should the server keep track of how long you have played and then spawn something good while you enter a building? I dont see that happening, it's all random spawn. So if your lucky you find it early, if your unlucky it could take up to hours.

Not gonna justify anything, but this thread is really pointless. You got killed? Bummer, please try again. And please stop repeating the lame ass comment it takes a high lvl skill blabla...it's a freakin game, dont let it get to you so much.
