I was about to ask the very same question. What's the point of a server restart now that the new loot system has been introduced? This is quite an important matter imo, since we wouldn't be forced anymore to play the 09:00 13:00 slot, and we could start to experiment day / night cycles.

I accidentally went to a sequence of steps that caused a duplicate item (couldn't replicate more than once though). I've read not to open topics, but to report on the tracker instead. Is this the right procedure? Make the tracker become a tutorial for cheaters?

I've always experienced weird lag issues in dayz, but what happened today left totally dazed. I was arranging my backpack in the attic house - first floor. I was careful, i had full view of the stairs and the window, then i heard a "flop", a guy that left me unconscious with an axe hit or punch or whatever. In order for this to happen i think i should've been laggin 2-3 seconds. Lag is the biggest problem im experiencing as of now, much worse than any other thing. I play with 65mbs download and 6/7 mbps upload, so my connection is not a problem. I usually join lowest ping servers, but, for me, lowest is never less than 40-50. My question: do you have big lag issues? What's the ping you usually play with?

Naa. You're too sensitive. If q = "What is your ping" and a = "Ping doesn't matter" you are not answering, so it's legitimate to wonder why you did bothered yourself with an answer. I was wearing a raincoat and i've tried remove and re-equip some clothes - didn't try with the raincoat - with no luck Only after my raincoat went ruined and i swapped it with a hood, the temperature indicator suddenly started to change properly. Anyone experienced this?

Eating and drinking is not yet a concern in this early stage of the game, i hope it will be later on. You will stumble on soda cans each 10 steps, no need to care about wells.

That's why i am asking. However, before igniting that fire, i was already wearing the same raincoat and i've seen minor temperature changes as normal.

I'm ok with the countdown itself, but there are cases where it gets really annoying and it's maybe not that useful, like - when you re-log after a server restart - when you re-log after being kicked - when you re-log after hitting esc key because of the endless "Please wait" - when you respawn after death generally speaking, any case where i'm not logging out on purpose. Couldn't be possible, without negative consequences - that i may being missing -, to intercept this unintentional logouts and make the game behave accordingly?

What do you mean by "playing the game wrong" ? If i'm playing in a server, the server restarts and kicks me out , then i join another server - what's wrong with this? oO

I'm not sure, i can remember from some version ago (maybe before 0.48?) that there was no cooldown, for instance, after server restarts
