Whatever, you dont see to quite understand what I meant, so lets just drop it.And about saying that russians like vodka 1.vodka was used in siberia to keep warm (nobody drank to death) 2.Large groups of russians eg cossacks, who almost dont drink alcohol at all. Rest is pure fiction, made up by the west. Just some info for educational purposes.

Meh its fine, I understand that you didnt mean to offend anyone, I just overreacted a bit, but I guess you understand why. Otherwise I was wandering from day 1, why does alcohol have such limited usage, but I guess its just a matter of time.

I wanted to write what is wrong with ur game/character OP, but then, I felt all the shitstorm that would come, so I decided not to.

So lets say, if the game took place in a fictional US state, I created a topic, where I suggested becoming fat, from eating hamburgers, no american would get offended? Highly doubt that.

1.Internet has made me feel offended when someone uses word vodka in context with something slavonic eg Chernarus. 2.I thought my post included something about using alcohol for many purposes.

Vodka lol, coming from the mouth of an american it sounds a bit racist,no? Other than that, useless feature since it would serve no purpose in the game and would be a waste of resources, it could be used for medical purposes (like now) and molotov coctail.

My bad then, judged by the looks of the map, it seems that chernarus would rather fit into Africa, rather than in Europe, judging by the countries state. Ofc, silly me, prison has computers xD Sorry guys, shame upon me!

As far as I know, the game takes place in the 80s.

Yeah, but Chernarus was an eastern block country, so western weapons would be rather smuggled there, than exported, so the amounts would be very very very small, and a very small variety.

Wrong, in USSR 80% of male population went through mandatory military service of 2-3 years, and women went throuugh some sort of medical training.

1.pistol is a weapon too. 2.People will always prefer rifles over any other weapon, you would have to seriously decrease rifle spawn ratio and increase pistol one for them to have a big impact on the game (Im in favor of that) 3.pistol mags are rare (not the revolver speedloaders), I would see them spawning inside weapons only if point 2 is implimented, otherwise it wont make a difference, since we have sks, shotgun and m4 for close quarters, and they are extremely easy to obtain (again point 2 would solve this)

If weapons would spawn with mags, the game would be even easier than it already is.

Agreed on most part, but you most not forget that Chernarus was on the edge of USSR, thus the influence of the west was higher eg more western goods etc, as it was in real life, further from Moscow, less Soviet influence.

Its quite pointless discussing this imo, since there are only a handful weapons in game.
