Personally, i believe once they add zoom for the Acog and PU scopes and allow you to choose fire-mode with the M4, you'll be able to Mid-range snipe just fine with an M4. Really, I carry four guns currently. M4, Sawn-off, FNX45, Magnum. The only issue that I have, is that I actually don't have allot of food. Sure, I'm in a "Healthy" state with light green everything, I don't have the materials to keep that up for long if I have too. Also, I have a shortage of Medical supplies, by my buddy carries 2 medkits anyways...

Wouldn't work in the long run. Ever tried to fire an M16 without having it braced up against something? Accurately? Shorter barrels for guns that have "easily" interchangeable barrels like the M4. You should be able to split the weapon into pieces to fit it into your backpack if it is possible with said weapon.

The ability to "craft" a gun would be interesting... perchance you could interchange parts to make a more improvised weapon that fits your particular play style...

Personally, i'd like to be able to switch between characters sometimes. For instance, just last night I went to the SE airfield to check it out, not really to loot, but to see what it was like and get a plan going with my friend. Next thing I know, i'm getting shot in the back. I turn around and there's 2 guys spraying me with M4's. I managed to kill the first, but i died. Anyways, i spawned and headed north to find 2 guys having a fist fight in the middle of the road and a zombie attacking on of the guys. As I approach I find out that the fight was actually a boxing match. I joined in and played for several rounds, killing one of them twice(on accident). I then joined up with some guys further up the road and we made our way to Bererzino and looted the shit out of it. Anyways, I'd like the ability to switch between the high intensity and always looking over your shoulder of the end game to the not really caring too much and being able to trust people of the beginning.

So basically what you're saying here is that we could have lever action mosins? -
Although, I've only got less than a week behind me, my total game time comes out to 35 hours. I can say for certain, that you should definitely learn the game yourself. It's frustrating when you find some good loot and five minutes down the road you get taken out by a "friendly" who offers some advice that may or may not be accurate, but it's part of the game, and eventually you understand how to live in any situation. I mean, right now, I would consider myself a survivor, not friendly but not an asshole either. I don't kill people at a distance unless they fire first and I don't kill someone up close unless they've snuck up on me or are not listening when I say to stay away. It's survival. You don't trust people you don't know in real life. Anyways, I'm not quite answering the question. I hit Electro, get both the firehouses and the office building. I've found so many M4's in that office building that it isn't even funny. Then it's west to the string of towns and skyscrapers. There's a few offices, barns, and grocery stores in that area that make the trip worth it. Then i head north into the forest and head back east. It's best to have a compass for this. I find a nice dirt road that will take me north and i take it until i find some small towns. Usually hit the "pub" buildings that have the little bar and then a small room and on the other side there's the living area. I keep heading north and find Gorka or whatever it is. I check the server pop and make a decision. If high I just head south and hide outside electro waiting for action. If low i go into Berenzino and grab some food and other stuff. I check the server pop again. If high just like before: head back to electro. If low, its up to the NEAF and then to the cargo ship. I sneak through leaving my big-ass backpack(its the mountain one with 35 slots) hidden in a non-loot house. Then I head west and after I've gotten clear of the NEAF, i go south to Electro. At that point, the server's usual pretty dry on loot, so i take a break. I've only ever died with this cycle in NEAF and that only happened once. In this cycle, i've killed people in Electro, Berizino, and NEAF. The most being in NEAF.

Personally, I don't really care how it gets done, but I want my scopes to actually zoom. Currently, it's more effective to hip fire and use the zoom feature that they don't allow while iron-sighting.
