This may seem weird, but if you run into the wall of the room or passage way of where you want to go and can get your head poking through the wall (beilng in first person will help), at that moment, while you are still pressing W you need to press Alt, then Esc and exit the server. Hopefully when you respawn you will be in the next room. The last time I was in your situation I was trapped under the apartment building in Berezino and it took several attempts to get out using this method. I had tried everything else as well. Good luck!

Easiest way to get in is around 6;15 (your time). Thats when they reset and they reset every hour at that time. Trouble with them is when you arrive you are a new spawn so you spend most of that time trying to get healthy and set up to perhaps try something new, like fishing. Then the server resets and when you re-join (taking care to re-join the same server # as before... you are a new spawn where you will again spend most of your time trying to get healthy and gear up.... Oh! and by-the-way did i mention that there are many others on the same server at the same stage as you and they all are looking for the same things as you which means they will usually KOS if they can or try to take you down to get your recently looted things. I think I have trotted off into the woods about 5 times ready to try surviving only to have the server reset which just gets old at the end.

I see no problems with the wait... Its a bind but thats the way an Alpha runs. I've done these before and the usual problem is the creators run out of funds and have to release it too early and then they are forever fiddling with it. So what if the Alpha runs 2 years and the Beta another year? You are still playing the game, No? -

I would like to see pistol holsters that strap to your upper leg as displayed in the photos of Ukrainian soldiers in the recent standoff w Russian rebels, in addition to the second gun on the right shoulder. (axe taking up 5 slots in the rucksack) -
I like the Z's now. What I'm not too keen on is the 1 second proximity re-spawn bit. Perhaps 30 secs might be better.

Rope would fix that and provide a use for it, also sewing kit and rags etc etc

I mentioned this a few days ago in the Pending Changelog thread though I thought it must have been mentioned before. I am totally in favour of the two gun ability. I think it is retarded that my character can only carry a melee weapon on its right shoulder Anyway what i also said was why should there be all kinds of restrictions? How heavy is a Mosin and how heavy is a fire axe? Is the difference so great that performance punishments need to be considered? If you are going to go down this avenue then why not institute a fitness ability too, where a character becomes stronger the longer it survives to represent the impact of physical exertion. Tramping up and down the map with a load on your back for hours and hours should affect a body. You could say, for example, that a character that has survived for 50 hours at the healthy level is perhaps 10% stronger than a Newb, with gradations up to 100% fitter than a Newb after 500 hrs (or something). Regardless, give us the shoulder choice to decide what to carry and where!

Not neccesarily, the difference in weight between a Mosin and a Fire Axe is not so great that the negative effect is significant. Besides it would still be worth it for the flexibilty of having hands free. -

Thank you for all the changes you are continuing to make and if I may, one suggestion. The ability to carry two rifles on the shoulders instead of one melee and one rifle. -
Initially I approached people looking for people to survive with but was met with nothing but death despite a raised hand and shouts of 'Friendly friendly!!' I was even shot down with both arms raised and no loot on me at all. So, I have become adept at avoidance and living undetected in the woods hiking with my compass from point to point to get whichever specific loot I require. I now know the map pretty well and where loot is to be found, but what next? The only thing I can think of is a bandit sniper, but I don't need any more loot and the idea of sitting around looking for targets bores me senseless. Any ideas? BTW, I'm playing UK servers.

Yes, Bandits or noob killers are good to go for and I have done some prelim recces in both these places Kaxii mentioned. The trouble is they are vulnerable in the rear, especially Pik where most pros will climb the mountain to go around the rocks so as not to be in the open to a sniper placed there. Any multinational European clans recruiting that you know of?
