The error I (only) get when launching from the file location is "DayZ.exe - Entry point not found" The procedure entry point D3DXLoadSurfaceFromFileInMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library d3dx9_41.dll" My control panel is showing a whole bunch of C++ redistributables; 2005, 2008 x64 9.0.30729.17, 2008 x64 9.0.30729.4148, 2010 x64 redist 10.0.4, 2010 x86 10.0.4 and 2 of the 2012, one x64 and the other x86. Also, I must be incompetent because I'm actually not sure where I'm supposed to put these rars...

Needless to say, that hasn't worked.

When I press play my avatar turns green and then goes back to blue. If I try to launch from in the steamapps file I just get an error. Wow people get awfully worked up about this. Guess what children, its part of the game. If someone want's to play like a dick they have all the right in the world to do so. Stop crying and start hunting bandits if you're so worked up about it.

Yeah, I've experienced friends who will act friendly, gain the person's trust then execute them later when they see an opportunity to benefit. When it comes down to the right circumstances, anyone will play the role of bandit. It's just a question of the price. Trust no one, work alone, stay out of sight.

Just stopping in to say HELL NO. Silenced snipers would be WAY too overpowered. Silenced assault rifles are well balanced so that if you want to sacrifice some range you can have a good long range silent weapon. Having range, power and accuracy all completely silent is just god mode.

Gonna have to bump this and add my vote for this feature. I just did this myself when i was in a rush to tweak my graphics. Yes I'm sure you're flawless at this game and make no mistakes in anything you do. :rolleyes: In a few weeks you'll probably make the same mistake and eat your words, though.

Required: * Server this happened on: US 394 * Time that it happened: Around 4:30 pm UTC 5 * What happened during the incident: Player (Mr StyLZ) was chased down in a truck, I shot the truck several times, he jumped out and started running, I missed a few shots at him and he got behind a tree and logged out, because I couldn't find him once he broke line of sight, I ran up the hill and hid near a tree and laid down and waited watching the truck. Several minutes later he spawned back in and shot me in the back. It's my belief that he jumped to another server, relocated his character behind mine, then logged back in to kill me.

Same problem here. Kicks me back to the main screen every time. No matter what server or version. I was getting the message before but now after I click it it sends me back to server select immediately.

Bump: I'm having the same issue. I launch a server through Six Launcher, choose a role, click join then it loads, and when its done loading it kicks me back to the in-game server browser.
