Ah ok, thank you !

Hey, thanks for the information. So I actually heard about them ingame but forgot to ask how they actually really look, then I started to google but couldn't find picture. Instead of a picture I found threads or posts on reddit that say it is a really good looting location.. I haven't played since a long time and it is nice to be updated about "new" looting places that are worth looking at. Greetings!

Hey guys, I have read a lot about these kind of buildings but I can't find anything about them via google.. just the name. Is there a possibility somebody has perhaps seen such a building and can describe or show it to me, via picture or sth? What the hell are these?! Greetings!

Former fan returns - can someone give me a quick update to these qs ?
MarchmelloMan replied to MarchmelloMan's topic in New Player Discussion
Thanks for the information That tip practically opened my eyes! So I throw away every weapon until I find ammunition (after a long time). And then I have no weapon, which means I can start again looking for a weapon, alright. Question: Would you also advice me to throw away all the magazines (if they are empty) until I find the right ammunition and then start looking for the magazines? And I guess if I have these things, I should start looking for the weapon, right? Now I got it I think. I guess now I just have to close a deal with the admins of the server or whomever that they will throw the ammo at me first, then the magazines, and then the weapons. -

Hey guys, I have played DayZ since the very beginning (christmas 2013/2014 and played complete 2014) but paused one year (complete 2015). I have already read a lot about it but some minor questions are still unanswered, perhaps some of you can help me here. First; I played ~4 hours now since I returned, not much, but I keep having trouble finding munition - already looked in most of the buildings of elektro and cherno, foremost fire stations, schools, police stations etc. but instead of discovering munition I got my 5th handgun and found the 6th main weapon - did they transfer munition to the inland perhaps? Just wanna ask so I dont keep searching forever here.. Second; Foods and drinks are somehow scarce, is it only that I am unlucky or did they lower the chance to find these things? Third; The last thing I know is that they introduced heli crash sites - in the time I played the airfields have been the big looting spots for military stuff, is that still the case or is it rather worth to go inlands? I know I can look for it myself, but I will never know it for sure since I can also be just unlucky when I go looting. Would be nice if someone could answer some of these. Happy to be in Zombieland again. See you! -
Different server hives, but not possible to differ between them?
MarchmelloMan posted a topic in General Discussion
Hey guys, I am just playing with my friend, and every time we join another server, we play another char, sometimes we get back to our old char, sometimes not. I guess there are some how different server hives, but they have no obvious attributes to differ them from other servers (of course we always chose the same public and 1st/3rd person stuff servers). Someone similar problems or better, solutions, explanations how to differ those servers from each other? Greetings! -
Hey guys, this shouldn't be another winey post about how much sway there is when sniping, and I'm sure, there will be lots of people that tell "I STILL use Mosin and kill targets at 400+ metres blabla" but... in my last experiences with the mosin, even more with a LRS attached, I have the feeling that it is much easier to kill someone with a repeater until ~200-300 metres.. and above that, it is almost impossible anyway with that sway. I even prefer pistols over the mosin cause they don't sway that much and I have more shots if the first didn't hit, of course not for targets behind 100-150 metres. Any other disappointed experiences with that thing (+LRS) or just the "pros" who still do 10+ kills at 1000 metres ? :p

Thx. So AKM and AK 101 at mil bases, M4A1 at heli crashes and the rest of the weapons in piano buildings / police stations / civil buildings?

Hey guys, I took a 3 months break in DayZ and started over again yesterday. Have a short question about weapons and stuff: I know, the NE airfield was removed, but what happened generally to weapons? I took a march to Balota airfield, to see how it looks now and was suprised that I couldn't find a single weapon there. Did they remove the rifles from there? Only got some ammunition. And if they did so, where else are they found now? Only at heli crashes ?? Greetings

A challenge for you all :)
MarchmelloMan replied to Conrad_The_Comrade's topic in General Discussion
That was meant seriously, what is the task? Surviving with that stuff in the forest by hunting animals or? That would really not be too challenging :p rather little bit boring by running on and on in search for animals -

Anyone Find the Engraved 1911 HandGuns?
MarchmelloMan replied to Deathlove's topic in General Discussion
That poll makes not much sense in that form. You have to ask after deleting NEAF. After that isn't on my route anymore and I only walk cities now, I never found a magazine again and only three 911. But from the time before.. can't count how many I have found + magazines (which are still much more rare than the weapon itself). -
It’s not like it would solve the problem by more or less deleting the NEAF, it just transfers it. Or you think they stop glitching and hopping now? They just do it in towns now. Like everybody else who visited NEAF before.

I used it for fast pvp action on a small area. Now it has just gotten useless. But yea, advantage is that more people go into the cities.

Though it is a bit roughly expressed, there's some truth in it. Most stuff that critizes the game, even if it is just input shared or something that can be held in the least as "negative feedback" is denied/raged against and not even allowed to be discussed about. And since this is an alpha, it’s a bit contradictory that everybody screams “alpha” and “come back in one year” as soon as someone posts criticism or just feedback that isn’t overly positive – an alpha or just anything that is heavily under development needs criticism and feedback and not just positive. So it is actually just for the sake of the game, that not everybody, who says sth negative about it, is immediately shut down. But that are the fanboys who are pretty blind considering that fact.
