Not entirely sure what happened. Thanks for all your help guys / girls. I edited the cfg but sadly didnt do anything. It looks like my drivers became corrupted or something as had to do full wipe and install. strange it only affected Dayz though. Still thanks

I had this. Still trying to sort. best advice ive had so far was to edit your dayz.cfg and edit the resolution and render. Try that. Didnt fix it for me but it might work for you. Good Luck

Sorry if in wrong area but I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this before bug reporting. Effectively DAYZ crashed (as it does) today and after logging in the screen resolution is all messed up. It now thinks my resolution should be 800x600 and that 1200x..... is 200% of my screen resolution (its a 1920x1080 screen). Additionally it reset all my controls. Ive tried updating drivers and restet comp few times but it just wont fix. Anyone else had this or fixed it? Thanks MartyB({><}TA

Thanks guys. Our server IP is : 109.70.148.18:2350 I dont think I did break the ToS as it allows us to kick for cheaters and as I cant identify who that is I have to kick eevryone. Again though I apologies if anyone gets kicked from our server. We will only ever blanket kick players and will generaly reset the server so no-one gets killed while kicked if a "cheater" or "hacker" is spotted. And we only do this if we have evidence. TBH we really need a "killed by" message.

As I cant broadcast in game annoyingly just wanted to say sorry to anyone who got kicked from our server. There was three guys teleporting all over the NE airfield and up and down the "sniper hill" (ill post vid if allowed) so as I cant identify anyone I had to kick everyone Sorry if this affected you (and you werent the hacking scum..). Actually its OK I've been informed that any building with a hidden room can be compromised (something to do with removing the associated file or something like that) So effectively cant play anywhere without glitchers. Thanks for your assistance guys.

Demonio you CAN be killed from inside a glitch. The guys that hide in the jail glitch (the one where you crawl through the wall) can shoot out and the one where guys hide in the "hidden" room at the bottom of the ATC can shoot out as well (same for the hanger glitch although its been fixed i think)....Quote "really you haven't played a lot DayZ SA ..." Sorry I must have phrased my question badly maybe- I'm not looking for a "Safe" place to hide I'm just asking if there is anywhere you can play where buildings haven't been exploited so people can glitch in them; i.e. as far as I am aware people are glitching into 1. Jails (top floor) 2. ATC (bottom hidden room 3. hanger at NEAF (maybe fixed?) 4. Apartments So is that it or has every building been compromised? Thanks again

Sorry not too sure I understand your answer? Is there anywhere to play without these glitch spots?

Hi All looking for a bit of advice, Over the last few days I've been getting killed a lot from people hiding in the glitch spots at the top of the jails and in the walls at the ATC's. As im sure you understand getting shot from someone inside a "hidden room" in quite annoying so as I still want to play the game, finding bugs etc to help with the game development can anyone suggest where its "safe" to hang out? I'm not worried about the hackers etc as not a'lot I can do about that and there everywhere but just fed up of people and guns poking out of solid walls then shooting me. My experience is only at the NEAF so I'm guessing the same glitch spots exist at the NWAF too. So is it safe to run around the cities or have glitch spots been found there too? Or am i doomed to run around the lonely towns and woods in the interior till its fixed? (Also are these glitches there in experimental?) Thanks for your help.
