    Recording in DayZ?

I tried to record a bit with ShadowPlay (30fps) and rendered with Sony Vegas. This is the result - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFwOB_cRkZo I hope it doesn't seem laggy/choppy ^^

    Recording in DayZ?

I'm not really sure how you record to a file with OBS (As it seems like it is a streaming software) but ShadowPlay looks neat and i hope the h.264 looks good on YouTube.. I'd probably need your OBS settings, and probably your rendering settings (if you use Sony Vegas). I will PM you on YouTube.

    Recording in DayZ?

What about the quality and also recording Skype audio (friends)?
  4. Hi! First off, i've always wondered how people record ArmA 2: DayZ with the performance loss. I have an i7-4790K and a GTX 780 SC and i am getting roughly 25-50 fps on the map Lingor (Overpoch). I cannot imagine someone recording though, especially needing it to be capped at 30fps constantly. I currently use Dxtory and use the Lagarith Lossless codec to record to a dedicated hard drive (roughly 180mbps - Seagate Barracuda 1TB). This might be a really short topic but does anyone have any idea how people are recording ArmA 2 with constant 30fps+? It just seems a bit odd to me how they are doing it and how i cannot do it myself. Really want to record some epic stuff and share it to my friends :)
  5. Hi! I wonder why ArmA 2 is using only 0%-5% GPU load. I just downloaded GPU-Z to check whatsup with the temperatures and GPU usage and i noticed that it's not using my GPU.. i got everything on Very High and it seems like when i play other games it's also like that. Really weird, i'm not sure if somethings wrong with my GPU or if its the game. Games seems to be running on good FPS (Such as Watch_Dogs) so i suppose my GPU is properly working.

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Well true, but i mean, i ask alot of other people how their performance is and they get 60fps+ with very high (Im not sure if theyre lying tho) and i saw FRANKIEonPC's 690 benchmark (which logically is a 680) because ArmA 2 cant use SLI and he gets 60flat "near" Cherno.. So im still pretty confused how he can get good FPS with 680 and record whilst im sitting here with a 780 SC and getting lower FPS..

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Oh well, i guess i'm pretty sure that its the servers.. if you say that the numbers i gave you (fps) are par. Well i just hope i don't have to worry about my GPU as i'm starting to think theres something with my GPU :S

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Heard that you should have it on Default so it can max out all the 3GB VRAM i got?

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Right, so the numbers are normal for my card? I guess i'll be hopping on servers and stuff for the next hour and see how it performs. :)

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Latest 780 SC driver 340.52 Driver which is the latest one on GeForce Experience. I will go ahead and try the editor thing, as i said on my EDIT 2 it might be so that its not using my GPU since it was at 40°C.. EDIT: I went to the editor, on an open field with quite forests around and got 60FPS flat and then i tried right outside Chernogorsk and looked towards it and got 35-40 FPS.

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

EDIT: Oh whoops.. double post :S EDIT 2: It seems like when i started Unigine Valley Benchmark the GPU was at 40°C and when i was done with the benchmark is was lying around 70°C Perhaps it wasn't using the GPU?

    GTX 780 - 30 FPS average?

Yes 55/55 server, overpoch and my Hard Drive is a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 190mbps (tested/dxtory)
  13. Hi! I just built a fresh new PC just today and installed ArmA 2 and other games and now i've been playing DayZ Overpoch on Lingor Island (CCG Servers) and noticed that i am getting around 20-30 FPS when going around. I am not sure if that is how many FPS i should be getting with the GTX 780 SC - i7-4790K - 8GB RAM with following settings below. I've heard a whole lot of people getting flat 60+s with the 290x and more FPS than i do and i'm not sure why its like that. I have also checked this guide: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/28160-guide-how-to-set-up-your-graphics-properly/ I have not overclocked anything in my system because my GPU is a SuperClocked so i don't think i need to overclock and i don't know how to overclock a CPU. My whole system is at its true form. :) The startup parameters i have for ArmA 2 / CCG Launcher are the following "-nosplash -world=Chernarus -cpucount=4 -exThreads=7 -winxp" and also configured the .cfg files on both ArmA2 and ArmA2OA GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; P.S -- I'll run a Unigine Heaven test and compare it to other people with a GTX 780.I hope there is a solution to getting more FPS, or if it has something to do with ArmA 2. !! -- I use FXAA (Sharp Filter) - Normal -- !!These are the settings i use:

    [HELP] Optimal Settings?

Yes i will be using a 1080p monitor, but aren't there settings that use your CPU instead of your GPU if you put it to low? I've also heard putting some settings to low won't affect your FPS either.. need more explanation :(
