If you are getting kicked while flying, then your heli contiunes to fly and will crash due to no pilot :).. You just lost the helicopter.. Btw. there can goes upto 7 days before it re-spawns.. And IF the server gets restarted the heli MAY spawn at the location it crashed. So try the place you crashed.

Soldier camo is hacked into the game. But the guy could have found the camo and weapon.. ;) We once found C4 in a camp.

Everytime a admin or someone else runs a script, Battleye look into the script.txt. If the command is listed they get a kick / ban.

If someone plays on my server with hacked weapons they are getting a ban. In serverrules i wrote "Do not break the DayZ rules" and "Playing with hacked items / weapons equals ban".. The ban is only fair due to the gameplay.. No admins can see if thats the hacker, or just someone whom killed the hacker. I have killed alot of players with hacked items, and I just leaved the weapon and hided the body..

Agree.. The player whom used the weapon didnt get a ban from US73 anyway.. And will not get a ban.

No.. I can't see voice reply.. And he called the dude "hackerbro" which none user was named at the time.. So i have no name of the hacker, only the one using the hacked items and requested items.

Yes, thanks for posting Honey.. We've been looking for him in the last hour, and finally found him.. US73 will be down a day or two.. Just in case.. Everybody should share publish every single hacker so others could ban them and avoid this huge pain in the ass.

Arma2 use port 2302 (TCP/UDP), i got similar problems in City LIfe, and tryed open up 2303 and 2304 aswell. After that i had no problem. If you need danish support, you can always ask or get help at the dansih dayz commiunity (survivors.dk)

Drogur if you join 50% of the US servers you can't join or you will be frozen after 10-15 minutes.. I was playing on US73, after 10 minutes a yellow-cain appeared, and stayed there for over 20 minutes.. No one could join, and if you looted it would take a hour to get the loot, and if you join a EU server after you will be setted back to there the yellow-cain started >.<

alot of users seems to have huge problems with joining server because the serveradmins are updating faster than Six Updater can get the updates. So my suggestion is.. Make Six Updater to Serveradmins, so we admins can run the update one time a day, maybe program a task which close the server down, run the six updater and then start the server again. This would improve the serveradmins' tools for making their servers good and attractive ++ Decrease the number of problems between users and servere.

DayZ is RUNNING on ARMA2.. Its a mod.. So if you CAN run Arma2, you CAN run DayZ. ;)

You are forgetting I AM an admin... So how come you wont just post the dump to prove you still are alive?.. Seems like you did die, and perform this act.. Shame on you! Post a screendump saying you are on day 13.. Then the threadstarter can see, he either is writing the wrong server or misunderstanding something :).. And to all threadstarters about adminabuse.. Do as i do.. Get Fraps, and let it run then you are approaching a person (pushing F9), or config it to take a screen every 1 or 2 seconds.. Easy.. And then you have the proves to do something about it ! :D You can't expect the devs to react on words. All should start posting fraps vids or fotos on YouTube.. So we can ban those son of b*****.. Say no to cheat, hacking and adminabuse.. Use fraps!

Hmm not true... The red chain is a status icon for the connection between the gameserver and the hive. As more and more people seems to he addicted by this mod and game, the hive will experiencing greater traffic. If you havent noticed, we've got over 200,000 new and unique players since monday. We now have almost 700.000 people playing this game.. So no wonder the hive is being challenged sometimes. I hope the Devs will upgrade their Hive, and maybe install a US and EU hive, to solve must of the traffic.

Yep.. I got this strange error.. And the same do must if not all players trying to connect to my server. They all say they can join other servers, so my guess was my server. Anyway, i took the time to try EVERYTHING, and i may have discovered the error. This is a screendump from about 10 seconds of wait at my server. This is a screenshot for about 10 seconds of wait on a random picked server. You can clearly see the Battleeye had communicated with my client at the random picked server, but not the battleeye on my server. Yes. I have tried to update Battleeye to newest version. Without anylook. So i tried to downgrade the beta to 94876, and still the same error.. Please help me.

Problem solved... 1. Go to your Arma OA folder under steam. 2. under Expansion you will find the "beta" folder. 3. Delete the "beta" folder 4. Install the beta patch 95054 5. Download Battleeye for "v1.61.94945+" 6. Copy paste both "Client" and "Server" dlls to this two location: - C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye - C:\Users\**********\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye 7. Go to your Steam, find your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead, right click, choose Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache. 8. Start your game normal. Make SURE you do this on the serverside ASWELL!, otherwise the server wont allow players to communicate with the server.

Hello DayZ.. Today one of my friends tried to join our DayZ server after been playing a week of "CityLife", so we didnt lose stuff like camo. Anyway.. First my Battleeye didnt start the server. So i found a topic here about updating battleeye to 1.61 and the arma2 client to 1.61.. Did that.. Now my server starts up.. Perfectly. but.. Then my friend or others join they getting banned and kicked out. I have tried to remove the ban ID txt file, (the content) and let them try again.. It says the same.. In the dialog from serverside it says: XXX connecting XXX connected XXX disconnected So no info about them getting banned. They have tried other servers, and no problem was given.. So my problem is basicly that i have updated to 1.61, because my BattleEye failed during startup of the server, and now it refuse to let anyone playing.. That to do ?.. The server has been offline during the past week due to the problems given around the 1.7.2 :) BTW. Then i updated the server, to 1.7.2.3 i couldnt find the "dayz_server" so this may be my problem. I have been searching the given HTTP with after the serverside file, but havent been able to find it.

I asked my host to reinstall the dayz and arma.. now it works..

Alright. I've updated the server to "v1.61.94945+" from the BattleEye website. Have been doing that you told me to do.. It seems to work, but.. I can't still connect.. I now get a new error named "battleye initialization failed" .. Wtf lol I have been dobbelt checked i downloaded from the 1.61.94945+ section, but it seems to have huge problems.. The server is started up, but my client (computer) says battleye initialization failed.
