the exact same thing happend to a friend of mine today on an experimental server! he also heared lots of gunfire and even a plane i didnt belived him until now maybe a "easter egg" from the devs? playing this event when smth. is triggered maybe

good one sharkman internet usage in dayz is average at 100kb /s but can explode very fast upto everything you have when you meet someone with containers (medkits, boxes, bullet boxes) and than it will get everything ! yesterday ive got 1,5mb downstream only in dayz making the server almost crash too (i was the only player and ive dropped a bulletbox with some ammo stacks but forget it and went out of network bubble radius when i came back to search it - no way you will every find these in grass - the net bombardement started) TIP: if you play alone and youre on low bandwith - dont take any boxes with you because they will make your session gettin lost and hope to god that you wont run into a boxed monster lol - this only counts for the current standard version -
