Hi I don't know if this is the right place to post this but i bought the game today though steam and i'm having some issues. When i go into dayz and try join any server i get an error message, usually asking me to confirm changes and i cant join the servers. Is this a common issue? Is there a fix for it? I tried googling this issue but it seems like people have been complaining about this since late last year, so i'm hoping someone could please tell me if there is a fix for this? I'd appreciate any sort of help. Thank you Regards Delicious_Noob

Like the title says i got kicked off a server when i tried to join and when i relogged i was completely naked. All my clothes and equipment were gone and i was now hungry. Talk about a massive glitch. Please help. -

Okay my problem appears to have magically resolved itself. I am now able to log on and play. Thanks for the effort to everyone who actually tried to help and i hope this problem resolves itself with the other 5 having this issue. I hope you all get the help you need.

There is 5 of us having this problem now. It be nice if one of the devs looked into this as it appears to be a common issue.

I co-owned a small minecraft server a while ago and i'll tell you right now you're going to lose a lot more money than you're going to make hosting a server. Unless you have a passion for the game and want to make a genuinely fun and inviting community i would recommend you don't invest into a server. The only reason i continued to host it was because i thoroughly enjoyed minecraft. Making a profiting server involves a lot of hard work and luck, definitely luck.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. Unfortunately this didn't work for me. :"( I try to join any server and it doesn't work. I'll get back to you regarding the rest in a while. I bought, installed, and play this game through steam btw. EDIT: Okay i tried playing the experimental patch but i couldn't join any of the servers. All the servers have red Xs next to them. I tried clicking connect anyway but as i suspected it didn't work. Thanks for the help, i appreciate it but unfortunately i still can't play. Edit 2: After trying both of your solutions separately i also tried them in combination and that still didn't work.

Hello everyone I am Delicious_Noob (please don't ask what i taste like) I've heard a lot about the arma mod but decided to buy the standalone because apparently its better. I've watched many videos on the internet about this game. It seems fun and i'm going to give it a crack by myself even though i've never played the mod before and don't know anybody who plays the standalone.
