Ok hopefully nobody mentioned this. I think radios are in the game if I'm correct they are just very rare. Now I'm not sure why side chat was disabled(is that the one that causes lag?) But what if side chat is only enabled for people that have radios in thier inventory. They can use them to communicate with other Players long distance.

Ammo crates can burn if shot a few times. Keep shooting it until it catches fire it should dissappear after burning

So Was going upstairs to shut down my computer for the night when I said let me just log on for a second. No sooner than I got on to us 1992 we get hacked and teleported to the island 20 miles off skulsity. So real quick I log off in hopes that it doesn't save my position. I log on to us 303 and so does another guy. I say don't shoot. He then explains he was on the same server that got hacked. We figure out where we are then decide that it's too far to swim so our only option is to shoot each other in the leg and bleed out. I couldnt stick around so I shot him in the leg then told him to shoot me in the head. Anyway if that guy reads this it was bitter sweet man. Lol

Yea lol. U know the funny thing is the cheater moved us all there and spawned like 50 boats. So we all could have went back to the main land but nooooo as soon as this shit happens everyone just starts shooting each other

yea my bad..i actually refer to them as cheaters not hackers myself. they are doing no actual hacking just running scripts someone made. i should have corrected it when i was typing but i was posting from my iphone and got lazy. on a side note tho excellent server and good job running it. you guys are on top of everything i notice. thanks for allowing a great server where we can all enjoy

exactly...i will point u towards armaholic.com for info on how to tweak the settings to get better frame rates...even though i posted on that forum site one time and a dick admin told me i was spamming the site...anyway most likely under your config file the game is trying to prerender frames like 10000 frames ahead...change it to like 2-4 and ull be on ur way

Thank you to the guy on 1992 tues morning who let me live. I had just logged on in berizino when I glitched out and died/spawned in solichny. I had no gear only my gillie suit remained. I was running up the coast when u spotted me called out n I told u what happened. U said fair enough and let me go. Big props to u lol most people would have just killed on sight. Esp. A guy in a gillie suit. Sadly I died shorty after that to bleeding out from zombies ending my 30 day run.

From the vids of arma3 on thier website I've seen it looks pretty bad ass. Maybe the rv engine isn't battlefield 3s engine which ur used to playing but arma 2 isnt battlefield. It is a battlefield!

yea i hear ya. i hope as well they can straighten the bugs out. i love the dayz mod but with all the bugs rightn now its just too hard to continue playing this way. ive always been a fan of arma so for know while they fix things im just playing that.

how did he do that? my button is grayed out once im in game. a few times i suicided by zombie but now when i die i just take off in whatever direction. it adds for fun to the game finding your stuff again instead of just running to your dead body. search the woods theres bound to be a ton of camps out there

yea we all understand it is in alpha thank you for clarifying that. it still sucks that the game is pretty much broken at this point and for my buddies and i we have stopped playing it for now due to the fact that tents and vehicules are not saving either. couple that in with the extreme graphic glitches its kinda hard to play atm. so like us try some regular arma 2 oa until they fix it

Exactly. They are not saving new locations so every server restart they are returning to pre 1.7.2.5 saved locations. Also tents are not saving either. Both of these bugs are extremely game breaking for me so I actually am not playing until they are fixed. It sucks to find cool stuff they have it disappear on restart
